Okay, this seems crazy f**ked up for an entertainment channel to do but the dots connect perfectly when aligned in sequence and looked at all at once. Plus, if indeed Shukla has been signed to a winner's contract and votes are audited by a third party, then the channel really has to find a way to ensure Shukla wins the vote. I urge the Shukla fans to please just be objective while reading this post, forget its Asim, just imagine some other twenty something guy with no former reality TV experience. He has proven to be a huge underdog in the show and his rise gave it the biggest rivalry in the show's history, which also is giving it all-time high ratings! Now, in the final phase of the show, as always, they start showing their favorites positive in comparison, so winning votes is a piece of cake for them. Problem is, this time, your favorite is a deplorable @sshole with alot of unlikable qualities, so this needs to be well-planned. Here's how they could be going about it.
- Asim is bashed repeatedly for only being seen when he fights. Salman calls him irritating. Truth is, all the non-fight footages are thrown out or dumped on Voot. Planting the seed in audience's mind that Asim is only seen when he fights.
- Himanshi's planned marriage breaks. Parag brings the message. Salman puts the responsibility on Asim entirely. In Asim's conscious + subconscious mind, two pressures are building. He needs to right Himanshi's wrong, and he needs to be seen on TV not fighting.
- Salman brutally bashes Paras (or at least tries to lol) for double-timing. Establishing a precedent that BB/Saman hate pyar wale dhokebaazes, and bringing outside info is fair game.
- Himanshi reenters. Asim, as expected, goes crazy in love.
- VG reenters. Finds Sana alone (SANA = who is now starting to trust Asim. She was the vehicle used to give Shukla positive footage back when VG planted the SidNaaz seed in their brains. Now they can't have Sana with Asim because that makes Asim look positive). Tells her he has a girlfriend outside.
- Final step: Salman bashes Asim HARD for being an emotionless 'gamer,' using a love angle on a show where he wasn't being seen by breaking up a marriage while himself being involved in the real world. Breaks his fanbase.
If this final step does come true, it will be extremely f**ked up because unlike previous cases where people were just unfairly evicted or shown negative for their game, here, Asim is shown as a bad person through sheer audience mass manipulation. This will not only hurt his chances of winning (their goal), but it will also hurt his career prospects, because this is a horrible thing to happen at the national level especially when you're starting out.
Asim has a strength which can be used as a weakness - he listens to Salman respectfully and quickly apologizes to him. If Salman cuts him off as always, doesn't allow him to defend himself and bullies him into apologizing, he could end up insinuating a confession on a crime that he is not guilty of.
Thankfully, facts are on Asim's side. Three times he's mentioned having a girlfriend on the show, he has said that it was on and off, and completely cut off for months before entering BB. He is not under any obligation to speak any solid facts to any of the housemates anyway, but thankfully he has always said he is single. Shruti Tuli, the girl in question, has maintained from day one (even in interviews) that Asim is single. Plus she has been supporting Asim publicly on Twitter and even participated in trends as his friend.
If I were Umar/Shruti the first thing I would do is make his single status extremely clear on social media. In the extremely off chance you're reading this 😆, PLEASE just make a quick video or go live on Insta. Asim fans will do the job of cutting the relevant part and making it viral I'm sure. That way, if the makers attack him as mentioned above, they/Salman looks stupid, petty, and vengeful for bringing up yet ANOTHER outside topic this season, so they will leave this falsehood alone. The timing is crucial here because if not acted upon by Friday, it could be too late. If this girlfriend really is fictional (which really seems to be the case) then Umar/Shruti should both say so loud and clear.
