If the first half of Bigg Boss 13 was all about Sid Shukla, then the second half has been all Asim.

From forging new, stronger friendships to having a romance angle that's going to come a full circle (almost), from being called a follower to now leading the opposition (sometimes single-handedly) against the channel favourite, and where alliances have been forged just to weaken him - this past month or more has been all about Asim.

He has shown the most growth in the last few months than most contestants put together (looking at you PaHira!). I suppose that is the purpose of a game like BB in its truest sense. To see how people adapt, challenge and grow to be a slightly better version of themselves.

I am biased (ha!) towards ViRaSim, but even among these three Asim has shown an uncanny ability to adapt to the game and trust himself over the skewed feedback of others.

Whatever may be your perspective, he's been the most talked about individually in these past months.

Case in point: all your posts about him in the recent past!

And he did it on his own...with zero encouragement from the BB team.

I have often wondered these past few months how different and organic bb would have been if it was totally based on the HMs showing themselves the way the are instead of being forced to follow a certain narrative. And this is where Asim stood out. He didn't follow the narrative n decided to show how he was n how he would react, warts n all n the result is for all to see.

Agreed 100%. In fact, if you look at the standard tropes of storytelling, his journey is genuinely worthy of being a complete winner's story if he ends up with the trophy. He was kacha in the beginning, found a mentor figured, learned to fight for himself, found love, lost love, went from reluctant participant (in the first week's tasks) to being one of the best/most consistent task performers in the house! Somehow even the bias plays its own role as a character in this story, as its one of the things he has had to learn to adapt to overcome. Its impossible to go back to first/second week episodes (where he was featured ALOT by the way) and believe this is the same guy we are seeing today.

From his character, to his friendships, to his equation with Salman, to his performance in tasks, to even his body transformation and overall look (he became more stylish later in the season, the haircut helped lol) everything about this guy's journey is about a boy growing into a man. Even the mistakes he has made along the way fall so perfectly in place.

Its kinda hilariously ridiculous but EVEN WHEN he was barely getting any footage, it turned into a story of its own because callers/Salman were pointing out his disappearance and building a story around it. So, even when he didn't have a story going on, he had a story (that he doesn't have a story lol). There are so many like Arti, Mahira, even Rashmi who disappear in the background for multiple episodes in a row. But when Asim disappears, its a thing. His disappearance is always discussed.

Shukla has been completely outshined by Asim which is why they desperately try to demotivate him every weekend...but sadly for them Asim refuses to give up!

I don't think he did it all alone Rashmi has been a firm support to him and has many times given him good strategic advice in fact although Vishal isn't a good player on his own but he too has his contribution in maintaining the stature of Asim by stopping him from going overboard at right time, calming him down after some nasty fights

Asim is a genuinely nice person. How we(Asim fans) all are connected to him is amazing. When Asim is emotional we all are and when he is happy we all are. Whether it is his sweet gestures or his fearless approach towards bullies or being a True friend or 100% attitude towards tasks we all are somehow are connected to him. If BB biasedly edit na kare uske scenes then he would be even more visible. Vishal, Rashmi, and Asim has loads of fun moments in unseen which were better than main episode
