If you watched the video, you'd know why. Asim was standing with his hands in his pockets talking to two people at the same time. Not exactly fighting stance. Sultani Akhada mein Asim was mentally in the right space to expect an attack and had his muscles taught.

BUT THAT IS NOT THE POINT

The point is Shukla could have very seriously hurt Asim had he landed on a corner of table, slipped tripping on the leg of the table or something. And the fact that the makers chose this specific weird unclear angle makes it very obvious that they knew this one was bad.
