Shukla doesn’t need a reason to treat people like shit. Look at what he has done with almost everybody on the show including his “friends” Arti, Vishal, Asim. A-holeness is a big part of his personality/usp. I was slow to spot it. But he is just a big bad bully who gets a sick pleasure from putting people down.
Nailed it! I couldn't have said it any better!
Something could have happened between them, sure. Maybe it was a mutual issue, maybe Rashmi messed something up, maybe Shukla was at fault. That's life. But the reason for the CONTINUED hatred and targeting is just this. Its just who he is. A problem can only be solved once it has been identified. Shukla's anger/bullying issues will only be resolved when he admits there is something wrong with him, which seems extremely unlikely based on what we've seen the last few months. He is either the hero or the victim of every single incident that happens in the house, according to the show, and overtime, that shit just fuels his already out of control narcissism.
[ Also, while we're discussing his ego: There is a different thread called 'Three Levels of Manipulation' where me and many of you guys have been discussing the meta plan of the show deliberately sidelining Asim after the Shukla v Asim week rocked the ratings, because they want to cash in on huge sympathy for Asim and unleash him again on Shukla for the season-defining rivalry before the finale. Not sure if this is really whats going on or not, but so far, the show has really enabled Shukla's ego time and time and time again and frankly, if this is the overall plan, then its really sadistic of the show to do this. They're propping him up to be a huge villian at the expense of everybody's (including his own) mental well-being. If this theory really is true though, then the show is using Rashmi has a vehicle for Shukla's hatred, which is honestly the most f**ked up part of all this. Either way, the truth is, no matter what Rashmi does, Shukla will find a fault in it.]
