Why outrage on Dey’s comments ?

Cos he used his mouth instead of fists like Asim/Paras ? It’s easy to say just watching from tv but I doubt anyone would be calm with chilli being shoved in your face

His comments started as soon as the task began. Mirchi was used later. He was constantly making comments- do kauri ki and all.. And he just didn't use his mouth ..did you miss when he was throwing items, hitting with his hands, beating them with towel, slapping away stuff from their hands?

And It's not like he wasn't getting punished. They were also being aggressive while putting stuff on him and were slapping stuff on his face. But it could be reaction to his comments.
