I know that Dipika was really offended by this (though she isn't the first person to have had insults "go beyond the house") and it just pushed her limits considering how angry she was with HC already for their Sree jokes.
But I can't help but think she really suited her "bahu" avatar, you know, defending her husband aggressively, "he is my husband, he is my life!"
Srishty had that issue with Rohit but her reaction was different.
