Sadly chittor still gives us chills. It is said since jauhar couldnt be set up they used explosives to blast the houses . Such was the impact that jaimal pattas house has no roof left. The mughlas searched the place for Pratap in vain. Akbar was angry. His win was like a defeat. In his rage he slaughtered 30000 civilians alive and destroyed as many as 50 60 temples in the fort itself. This is according to the Mughals account in Akbarnama. God knows what the reality was. Pratap was forced to leave almost a year before the faithful day by a scared Udai Singh. So much was his differences with his father that he left for kelwara, the Bhils province with Ajabde solankhini bai, jasobai, and his children. He never set foot at Udaipur in anger and never visited his father till his death in 1572.

Rati my pal how are you? Miss me? 😆.
I missed Monday's episode but caught the one on Tuesday. A very thorough episode and by far one of the best so far. Touched the heart immensely!
My thoughts lingered on after the episode on the state of how things were at that point of time.
Well done to the actors for their strong portrayal and CVs so the sensible depiction on screen.
This is it! More to come, more chills to experience but will watch. I remember those promises. It's the least we can do!
Hope to be back to my regular routine next week 😉. Till then, Hugs!
