At first glance I thought the new Akbar was a poor choice, now I think more positively about him, he grows on you. The best thing about him is his ability to portray arrogance, he does it really well.

I think the direction the creators are taking the serial is great. Everyone knows that Maharana Pratap is great hero but that does not mean you need to debase other characters especially the enemy.

If they keep on showing, an Arjun-Karan kind of relationship between Maharana Pratap and Akbar, I am going to love it but if they make it an Arjun- Duryodhana kind of conflict, it may be time to leave.
