- First, despite being a kshatriya and Rajput, bachcha can't stand the sight of blood and can't tolerate death! Wah! 😲 Hiding face when someone was beheaded. And even while killing Shams Khan he had hesitated for a while before stabbing him. Yeh hai "Maharana Pratap"!
- Then, he trusts everyone blindly! Blind faith on Bashar Khan, dropped all curiosity and suspicion against him. Kripa hai Mahadev ki jo Mrityulok se iss baalak ko utha laaye! 😆 Won't hear even his mother's words of warning against Chhoti maa's and other people's threats to his life in the mahal. Does he want to become like his dad? No clue of politics in mahal and traitors within the family? Dheela kahin ka! 😕
- BLIND obedience of elders be it guru or parents (including step mothers). Why? How prudent is this? Okay he can obey them, but at least ask them questions to know why they are doing to him whatever they are doing? Just to show him superior to Mughals? Or to draw parallels with Ramayan or Shravan Kumar's story?!
- He doesn't want the throne. Really? Again trying to sanitise his character and show him as Ram of medieval ages?
At this rate, I don't think he will ascend the throne later on insistence of praja and courtiers also! Kyonki pita ji ki aagya ka paalan jo karna hai! And pita ji had declared Jagmal the successor! 😡
Sorry to say, but this show has shown Pratap more like a sissy. His battles have been made to look personal as he gives more importance to promises made to his father or orders he needs to obey instead of patriotism and dharma towards the land. From this show, it looks like he fought Mughals only because of personal reasons and promises made to dad.
And the way he readily gives up throne for family members, then how will he become king?
I don't think he'll be able to fight against his brothers when they side with Mughals. They won't show Shakti running to save him. They might show Pratap instead running to hug his brothers (at the rate at which they are going!).
Not Ram. But Pratap is definitely looking like Bhishma who forgot about the land and took stupid oaths just for his father's sake!
It's hard to think this person could have grown up to take control of his land and fight tooth and nail for his people, devising clever and new, unheard of, war strategies that would go down in history of defense and warfare studies!
They are showing him as this emotional fool, weepy and over sensitive, blindly trusting, blindly obedient kid who has no clue of what's actually going on around him!
I am not happy with this wimpy and sissy portrayal of Pratap and desperate attempts to draw parallels with Ramayan. 🥱
At this rate, Pratap will be no less of a kaan ka kacha and lallu than his father!
Why are they doing this? Just to draw contrasts from "ruthless" Mughals? Bullshit!!
