"My Bhabhi act has increased TRPs"

he was out of a serial when it was at its peak of popularity and she was playing the main lead. That's old news. But what surprised everyone was Kanchi Kaul choosing to be a part of a long-running serial Bhabhi and that too as a replacement artiste. "I thought it was challenging to step into the shoes of a well-established character and yet connect with the viewers. I think I have succeeded because the TRPs are on the rise," says Kanchi cheerfully. In the forthcoming episodes, Kanchi's track will have lot of twists and turns. "The character has a lot of emotion and entertainment, which I enjoy doing," she states. Any regrets on what happened to Ek Ladki Anjani Si? "I am happy I left the show at a high point but regret the way they tried to malign me," says the actress who claims to have got plenty of offers but "none with a strong role like Bhabhi's".
