Dev asks Nihal in the restaurant as to why Nihal went to so much trouble and Nihal replies that this was nothing... after all, his life is linked with dev's. Suhana is shocked on hearing this.
Nihal catches Suhana's hand and Nihal says that Suhana loves him.
Megha threatens that she will break her relationship with Nihal if Nihal does not come immediately and with sohan. Nihal replies that if that is what she wishes then so be it.
Dev asks Suhana what she would do if her past relationship, that she has left behind what woudl she do? She remembers all her scenes with Nihal
Today:
She says that she had some majboori... Dev says he also has a majboori... and then he says that the reason why Mahek cannot walk is his mother. He says that Mahek's mom was from a poor family... her dad was his patient...
*flashback*
Dev is treating an old man... who is on his deathbed and the man asks who will marry his daughter once he dies... saying this he dies... and so Dev marries the girl and takes her to his house... and his mom asks him to leave her otherwise he can also go out of the house with her.
Dev leaves with her... and that he brought Mahek's mom with him to nainital, and then she gets labour pains. premature... Dev's mom comes and throws money to her and asks her to leave... she also insults Mahek's mom and so she gets upset...
In the hospital... Mahek is born and Mahek's mom dies. The doctor tells that the mom had gotten a shock during her labour pains... and so the baby cannot use one leg...
Dev takes the baby to his mom's house and scolds her for all that she has done... and he does the nazar utaro of his baby with his mom's money and throws it at his mom (She is standing on the first floor and Dev is on the ground floor). He says that he will never be back...
*End of flashback*
He asks her how can he nibhao those rishtas now? He hugs Suhana and cries... he tells her that he does not want to turn back and see those relations anymore...
Dev tells that he has cried after a long time today... Suhana holds his shoulder... He tells her that he used to cry on his mom's lap and since his quarrel with his mom, for the first time, his heart feels lighter...
Suhana tells dev that she feels very very small when compared to dev. he asks her what she means. He tells that I don't think anybody can understand me... and she tells him that she understands... and he hugs her...and tells her that he loves her... Suhana raises her hands as if to hug him.. and then lowers her hands... by then Dev realises and leaves her and apologises... saying that he got very emotional.
Suhana asks Dev to meet his mom once. He avoids the topic and tells her that he will drop her. She asks him to go to Mahek and that Amarnath would drop her...
She keeps thinking about Nihal while going back. and she has tears in her eyes. Suhana's soul appears in front of her... and asks her to take a decision... Suhana asks what decision to take??? She cannot upset Dev and Mehak. so Suhana's conscious tells her to call Bade chacha, badi chachi, chaiji to come and take Nihal away and that Nihal must leave. Suhana is thinking what she needs to do... the conscious tells her that she wants Nihal to be there... and that she is cheating Dev who loves her a lot... the conscious tells her that she still loves Nihal and that is why she does not want him to leave... Suhana screams no and enters her room... Mrs Rathilal comes to find out what happened. she tells her that she is ok and Mrs Rathilal leaves.
Savitri (Dev's mom) is refusing to take medicine. she is repenting her actions. she tells her husband that when she has not fulfilled the duties of a mom, how can she expect him to fulfill the duties of a son?
She says taht she wants to go to him...
Rathilal tells Dev that his wife was telling that suhana was upset yesterday... and dev tells that suhana will be there in just a while... he says that he knows what is wrong with her and continues that she is upset because of him... Rathilal tells that this worry is a sign of love. Rathilal tells that he is giving his daughter... so to not let tears in her eyes... Suhana is standing outside listening to all this... Dev promises that he would never let tears come in suhana's eyes.
