What could be the reasons for Arjun not taking Maya to the doctor for treatment?
May be he did want to take her and told her but she refused. Then he may have started consultation with the doctor without taking her. May be Maya started suspecting Arjun and may have tried to harm herself or attempted suicide which made Arjun forego this idea.

May be her not so normal state of mind is the reason for him not to touch her for two years because he knows it will not be okay for her to conceive and have a baby in this state of mind.

So he is suffering and waiting for her to get better.

@TM your question was answered by Arjun (I think just after VM's torture scene!) in one of the recent episodes!
He did say,"Maya is not bimar but buri" How do you expect him to treat her?
Another important utterance from him, goes something like this!
If Maya gets back to normalcy, he fears that she might stop loving him beyhadh way!

So, for his selfish interests, he wants to maintain status quo! And Maya is also comfortable with that! Only those who cross their paths are having problems!

It was not Arjun but Vandana who said, "Maya is not bimar but buri". Arjun said, "Maya normal nahi hai".

And he also told Vandana that his pain and suffering would end once she gets cured. It was said during another episode.

I don't think Arjun is selfish. He also told Vandana that why is she not letting Maya get cured by indulging in those antics.

I stand corrected! Thanks!

Didn't Maya say to Arjun in the same episode or so, "Tum kisi ki dawa nahi ban sakte."
Now, she is thinking that only Arjun can cure her! Her dialogue has changed now! Right?

The point is simple! Turn then U-turn then double U-turn! That is how dialogues are delivered nowadays!
Maya is Bad or Mad or both?
She admits to Jhanvi that she has bad qualities & worried about Arjun knowing that!
VM thinks that Maya is Bad!
Jhanvi thinks that Maya is both Mad & Bad!
Arjun thinks she is not normal!
How can she possibly get cured if there is no clarity on her problem?
