Guys to the question why Arjun isnt leaving Maya or taking the pictures of her being psychotic. For this you need to understand Arjun. From beginning he loves to pass on blame to women for all his problems. First Vandana, then Saanjh now if he takes psychotoc pics of Maya world will show empathy to Maya, as she needs treatment. He will be given divorce, but then Maya wont be entirely at fault. Arjun doesnt want this. He wants the reason of breaking of marriage to be put entirely on Maya. He wants to present her as a cruel obsessive wife in front of the world so that his image is just suffocated one. You see fault only on Maya. Balance only tilted at Maya's side.

Most interesting part he asks Maya to liberate him from the 7th vow. The very same vow Saanjh made happen. He doesnt want Maya to love him. Because if she loves him till last breath and able to prove to the world that she had always loved him well then he becomes a failure. It was told that the 7th vow is Arjun's protection. Actually the 7th vow has now become Maya's protection. The world has to see Maya hates Arjun, which Maya is not allowing him. She sticks to her promise.

It was interesting to see Arjun takes her mangalsutra or bandhan, not she. But in front of the world he wants to show she broke the mangalsutra.

Yes Maya is obsessive, pagal and insecure. But it is also a fact she will go any extend for Arjun and that is what Arjun is afraid of . That is what that has trapped him in the jail. The 7th vow is what he wants to be liberated from. The very same vow which his best friend created.

I didn't really like this episode & what might have happened. If by chance arjun has got to know that Maya has faked her pregnancy, he should have left her instead of doing these bullshit things. He is really selfish. In one of the episodes, Maya was ready to walk out of his life for good after hearing Vandana's taunts and recollecting that pundit's words. But Arjun stopped her and emotionally blackmailed her which made her stay. Now it is the same Arjun who is asking Maya to relieve him. Why the hell did you tell her that Ganesha is only a stone and provoke her to do the visarjan? Even after the visarjan, people do by new Ganesha idol for their satisfaction. I guess Arjun also would have seen her taking the pills and might have asked her to stop which has made her condition worse. If she is ill it is your responsibility as a husband to take her to a good doctor & care of her instead of thinking about your ayashis. Did Maya love you for seeing this day?😡

People say that Maya is a psycho as she had hurt herself by breaking the glass, threatening Arjun that she would commit suicide in the hot balloon but when she was constantly hearing VM's taunts at the police station and decided to step out, Arjun too did the same threatening. He knows that Maya cannot see him in pain. Maya told him that she is a black shadow and no color can come on that but Arjun still clinged to her at that time. What the hell does he think of himself? In the bachelor's party, he was drunk. He was saying that Maya will dance to his tunes but when it backfired on him, he wants to leave.😡 If he really loved her, he would have taken her to the rehab center and helped her out

Exactly, I agree.. We don't know what happened in those 3 years..She completely obsessed with him, installing cctvs even in the car..These things are not normal, why Arjun didn't broke their relationship? He can divorce her instead of calling her pagal😕..Like shruthi said, arjun reminds me of Ashwin..I didn't liked that last scene, he was literally enjoying her cry..Ok, agree she is pagal then what was you? You are no less..This is not the way to behave..Biggest clue that he is not the innocent one here is jhanvi..She cares for her daughter, she wanted to tell her something regarding arjun..

More than happenings in episodes( Yesterday's was a good one, of course) the analysis & interpretations & expectations of different members fascinate me.

Many of us suffer the same syndrome of Maya to some extent- at times behad - when we very passionately defend a particular character/actor or even a relationship shown in the serial.
Obsession is there to see, here!
It blinds the rational mind and blocks our ability to hear or even acknowledge the other person's POV, when we debate as if something is at stake! I am not saying every one, out here. Maybe, some in good measure!
Many give up after sometime, if that is not so important or at least willing to negotiate a deal!
Only very extreme person persists till the very end . And that is the key- very end!
I believe Maya is one such extreme person who is unlikely to back down till her very end! All other characters are only there to demonstrate such behaviour of hers. So, naturally only her character will show some consistency which is totally unpredictable in nature while others will be summoned to play around with patchy character build-up. So not surprising, if Arjun or Saanjh behaves in a funny/irrational way with some disconnect. Because they are not real persons of their own mind, mere tools in the hands of Cvs to bring out different shades of extreme conduct of main character.
@shrutiravi I thought I made my point clear. The other lead characters are being utilzed to bring out the best drama effect of main lead character by CVs. This is all about screen play & script writing!
And that is about it!

Good fun but same time besides entertainment value it is thought provoking also! We will be able to enjoy only if we care to shed our obsession/loyalties and take a neutral view point!

@Fernades first understand one thing. No one is tool. Everyone have an independent thinking mind. If you are a tool, it is your choice that you are allowing. Maya can easily let go of Arjun because he is getting suffocated. Arjun can file for divorce. As some members said it is pretty easy for him to get divorce. Just take the psychotic video of Maya and upload it in You tube. Done. Insanity of spouse is a valid reason for divorce. Every character is grey, every character has shade. If people can discuss the grey shades of every character it will be more meaningful. Also debate dont take you anywhere, only discussion where both parties are willing to walk and meet somewhere in between takes you somewhere. You have to give something and take something.

@KS we have to know a lot of things in 3 years. Yes it is intriguing that Arjun has not filed for divorce.

I wonder if she hurts to see such Maya? After all, she brought Maya to such a state, her direct involvement in this, too, is great. She did not let her daughter see love, and now her daughter grasps the illusion of love. Jhanvi knows that this is the road to the bottom. She only needs to open her mouth to change the vector of what is happening. But three years have passed, and Jhanvi is still silent and watches as her daughter burns in hell

I don't think that Arjun's freedom has gone solely because of Maya, remember flirting, the desire to drink. Despite the events that happened, Arjun didn't change, he still lied, walked somewhere, drank, and yes, his freedom began to decrease

By the way, why can't he leave? After three years, Arjun decided that she must paid for this marriage? Revenge? Does he want Maya to hate him? Or does he want to not lose money Maya? What keeps him? Certainly not vows at the sacred fire

@Laska Maya says her biggest failure is Jhanvi. It is so true. She failed Maya as a mother. The path to the bottom that stares at Maya is because a mother didnt protect her child when she needed the mother the most.

Arjun is not there because of marriage or marriage have bound him. He wants Maya to break her vow. Else he will become bad which he doesnt want.

@Fernades let me make my point also very clear. The other characters are not tools. I consider them individuals with their own mind. My analysis will consider them also individuals with goodness and flaws, along with Maya. Thank you for putting your points.
