Yes, that's a good point.

Although, why does the entire responsibility lies on Vandana's shoulder alone to make peace with Maya? If Vandana hasn't taken a step towards Maya, Maya hasn't taken one step towards her either.

If two people are sceptical about each other, if two people do not like each other, if there's a misunderstanding between two people (about each other), the responsibility to clear it all up lies on them both. Maya's press conference doesn't count as in attempt to clear her misunderstading. No personal effort was made by either of the parties.

Also, its unfair how Arjun gets scott-free in this issue, both Maya and Arjun never once tried to talk to Vandana together into accepting their love/relationship/marriage nor did Arjun once felt the need to tell her the truth Maya (her version of truth) has told Arjun about.

Vandana is one crazy woman. The day she understood her laadli Saanjh won't get to be her DIL she has freaked out completely & for every single thing she finds fault with Maya.
Vandana doesn't like to hear anything good about Maya... she knows she will not get to hear the things she wants to hear a bout Maya from Jhanvi ...she was only looking for a reason to break the marriage.

Maya has always been respectful towards Vandana. She did take a step forward towards Vandana. Otherwise, she wouldn't have bailed Ayaan and united her with Arjun. Vandana has always been cold towards her and had compromised for Arjun's happiness but she has been looking for a reason to drop Maya and insert Saanjh in that place. If the matter is about Maya, it is her duty to go and ask her and know the other side of the story. If not, she should have asked Jhanvi about it. But no, she always takes her own decision believing any random person.

Maya was polite and respectful to Vandana from the first meeting. Vandana is mocked Maya, she was rude to her.
When Arjun asked Maya called Vandana mother, Maya agreed. And still she was polite and respectful.
Maya must become an ideal Bahu, must find a way, must give time, must to talk, must, must, must
Arjun must explain, must give time, must, must, must
Somehow Vandana nothing must to anyone. She is always and everywhere the right.
As Arjun didn't accept Vandana (but he has real reason to this), in the same way Vandana doesn't accept Maya, and this will not change any conversation, time, or something else, because Vandana just doesn't want to accept Maya and would not give her any chance.
Arjun her son, as Vandana says, but she doesn't accept the choice of her son, more than this she doesn't show to the choice Arjun of the slightest respect.
Even if Maya dies and Arjun will be broken, Vandana says: "I told, Maya doesn't suit to you, so now you are suffering"

It's either of the two things a) You didn't quite understand what I have said b) It was a failure on my part to be able to explain it better. In either of the cases, let's agree to disagree. 😊

It's clearly the second case. Two can build the relationship, it's a two-way traffic. But in this case there is only one part tries, the other does everything that it was impossible. Today's episode is another indicator of this. Sorry, Arjun was too small to host such reception for his new "mother". That's all.

- Haven't watched today's episode yet.

- It's nice to see how confident you are of your comprehension abilities while at the same time disregarding my elucidation abilities.

- @bold - THAT is exactly what I said the first time, it takes two to build a relationship based on trust. From where I see it, I hold both Vandana and Maya responsible while you prefer to give Maya a clean chit. Anyway, you stick to your perception while I'll stick to mine.

Annihilation, would be interested in knowing what you thought of today's episode, when you watch it.
I felt that Arjun did try to explain to Vandana that Maya is trying to move ahead and forget her dark past, but Vandana didn't budge, She didn't want Maya in the house and was in no mood to give her a chance, even though Saanjh, Ayaan and Arjun tried to reason with her.

I'll try to cover all the bits of the episodes (today's and if I happen to miss out on some more) whenever I be back with a proper topic of mine. Although, I'd like to know what you think as well because you mostly ask questions in my thread and disappear once they're answered. 😆 But then again, I think I kinda got a general idea from your view on today's episode/this scene.
