Hey guys! I thought we could creatively predict Maya's past or why the way she is today... Hopefully CVs might read and get some ideas ..*cough* better ideas *cough* from us.. So putting together some thoughts from the forum, here's what some of us have already predicted -
1) Maya's dad had sexually assaulted her when she was a kid because her dad was a pervert. Her mum or rather noone knows about this. Then her dad left her mum for some other woman but keeps coming back to the house for money or whatever... Her mum is mentally disturbed because of this.
2) Maya is hallucinating her parents.
3) Maya's dad's spirit haunts her. Her mum had been abused by her dad and Maya had killed her father. The guilt probably either translated in having hallucinations about her dad OR her dad's spirit is really haunting her.
4) Maybe her mum had remarried & the guy whom she is scared of is the step father. As a child, her step father either tried to discipline her so much by locking her up in a dark room... or taken extreme measures. There could also be sexually abusing her.
5) Maya has a split personality or a twin sister. 😕
