@devakshi I dont know how to explain it. See every good show has a end and a path towards that end. In a script a path is connected, just like in a good book every page is connected. A good character has a character arc, a motive, a path to the motive. If you have read books especially psycho thriller books or simply thriller books you will understand it. I come from South that too a Keralite who has watched movies that are scripted damn too good where we dont watch movies for the actor but for scriptwriter and director, where script writers are given equal importance as much as lead actor, so in that scenario when you watch a character whose motive is there but no path, or the path zig zags without any consistency its difficult to continue. Maya Jaisingh has no consistency and thats my biggest problem and story has no head and tail or the writers are somehow trying to reach the tail.
Hey Shruti, thank you for all your posts. Loved reading them. Unfortunately, I never watched any show for the script writer and director... Mostly for the actor but you are right, Beyhadh 2 has been a real mess. There is no linking between one story to another and sometimes no closure... I am like what are they trying to show exactly?
Similar to you, I have not been watching for a week as I am a bit fed up with the whole plot. So I am most probably going to take a Beyhadh detox for a month during this lockdown cause I feel this virus will only subside in May/June and shooting will only start after that when things are stable.
By the time, i might forget a serial named Beyhadh 2 exists. Currently watching English horror movies. Need to spook myself cause am bored sitting at home.
Do take care and stay safe😊
