I actually agree with you. This was out of character. Ive watched all the interviews leading up to the show, it was specifically said that maya would not behave this way. She is here to take revenge from people that hurt her. This gave me season1 vibes and I didn't like it.

Exactly. Maya Jaisingh is not mentally unstable like her namesake from the previous season. She is a normal and rational person who has turned ruthless and vengeful against the people who wronged her.

She should not behave like an unhinged psycho.

I'm so upset about the episode. I feel like they.re going to ruin the show. They said that this year Maya came with an agenda - revenge. There's a REASON for that revenge. She is obsessed with carrying out that revenge. This is out of character.

Anaynna hurts Rudra, Maya wants to hurt Annaynna.

MJ cuts her hair, red dress, which hurts Rudra but she isn’t gathering courage to throw away that jerks hand at least.

I don’t want biased love Maya Ji. If you want to use fork on Annyanna, then gather courage to throw away MJ's creepy hand at least.

Maya Rudra Roy needs to get her priorities straight asap.Unlike Maya Mehrotra who didn't care for what's right and what's wrong,Maya Jaisingh is expected to understand that difference.But she has been replaced by Maya Rudra Roy whose world begins and ends with Rudra.

It seems as if the writers themselves are getting confused with Maya's character. Maya could pick up a fork to stab Ananya in a party filled with people for an absurd reason but couldn't lift her hand to stab MJ with his own scissor when he dared to cut her hair which her Rudra loves very much?? Aise kaise chalega?

Even Maya Mehrotra of the initial episodes wouldn't do something this reckless and stupid.
