That's justifying Maya's action. And no, killing an innocent is not karma in any form. Maya fully had the choice to not kill Rishi.

MJ being evil does not absolve Maya of her crime.

I think because this time Maya's humane side was also shown, some viewers started expecting that no murder etc will be shown. But the channel and makers had always promoted S2 to be darker than S1. It's darker because in S1 Maya was virtually obsessed psycho, her mental state was anything but normal. But in S2 whatever she is doing, is with healthy, conscious mind. She is doing in revenge, and she is shown obsessed with revenge for which she can cross any limits.

The title of this series "Beyhadh" itself suggests that makers have to or will show things which ordinarily are not done if stayed within limits (hadh). They have to justify the title. Besides, the Crux of Maya's character has always been that she is supposed to be dark. That darkness should be consistent in some way in all seasons. Especially since the basic nature of Maya's character was already established in S1. Maya's nature or reason for going after someone can change with seasons but not the fact that she has to retain some darkness in her character. In that regard makers have done a wonderful job.

In no way I am justifying what Maya did to Rishi, since he was innocent. But then this is what Maya has always been about as a character- dark, blind and obsessed with her aim. Maya as a character gist was never about being completely right or wrong, it was about her being dark, obsessed in terms of the means she uses to achieve her goals. People who watch these kinda stories, usually do for the sake of characterisations and not for the main lead being always right. Because Maya was never a normal avenging character. N agree with you, this time loving each and every cast member too.

Agree that people who watch these shows don't do it for justifying anyone. But still, people will express their feelings about the developments in the show, right? You cannot expect people not to express any emotions regarding the incidents.

Rishi's death was devastating, so people will be overcome with sadness. That's natural.

Watching the show with an open mind does not mean remaining aloof from its happenings.

Firstly, no where have I said that people shouldn't express their feelings or they are wrong. So I think you have completely misinterpreted my post. It's only an analysing comment, from both makers and viewers side. Why makers are showing what they are and why viewers are feeling what they're feeling without calling any one wrong or right.

But to express your feelings and then argue with others because they expressed their feelings about the show and Maya are two contradictory things. Express 'coz it's understood all of us are sad with Rishi's demise. But don't stop others from expressing too.

Well, many people are saying that others are wrong to express their sentiments or get sentimental in the first place. There are many posts which mock members for being upset at the developments.

Express your feelings, but dont mock others for what they feel. Nobody gave you the right to do so.

Right MJ being evil doesn't absolve Maya of her crime.

But there is no point denying that one way or another Rishi or any other member of his family had to pay for the sins he committed. This is not fair but it is the truth.

This not the makers FAULT. They showed exactly what they wanted to show. And they did a perfect job. This season is about Maya's Beyhadh Nafrat.

She knew that Rishi was an innocent person. She herself didn't want to kill him. She is crying for him. But still she went through that. Because her Nafrat is sooo Beyhadh that nothing else matters. This is exactly the show is about.

You have some serious trauma of Rishi's demise, that or you cannot understand what is really meant by a neutral comment. Giving so much gyaan on mocking and expressing feelings. Kindly read your comments again and maybe start applying your rules to yourself. If you don't understand basic analysing comments which are neither mocking people's feelings nor stopping them from expressing. Then that's not my problem. Do you have any idea what mocking others is? It seems general, neutral words=mockery for you.

My comments were always about the show, it's nature, gist of characters, expectations of viewers because Maya was initially shown in positive light and therefore reactions of viewers. People have right to say anything against show and if any one of us doesn't like it then right to stop watching it too. But when others give their opinion, some people start giving lectures and what not. Without even trying to understand that maybe the comment wasn't directed at anyone, or what Mockery is. N plz go on and quote me more, I won't reply to you anymore. You didn't understand N of normal comment, won't waste my energy with someone who has decided already that they won't even try.
