I was thinking whether to put this post in the forum then decided to go ahead with it. Bh2 was proposed to be dark and Maya character was supposed to be darker. A woman who has suffered so much lost her everything won't hav humanity left in her with anything connected to her tormentor. And Maya is not the first character we are seein like that. SRK played that in baazigar.Malayalam I can show many movies like new Delhi rajavinte makan etc where the heroes harm the so called innocent but the script justifies the character action. It's not about right or wrong it's about a character emotion. Bh2 was never meant to be love story and it never will. It's dark and will be more dark. If u watch it understanding the emotion of character you will enjoy. But if ur goin to judge the right and wrong and look through the lens of morality well u will never enjoy it.

Exactly spfan there are many movies. Ekta has spoiled itv space showing mahan hypocrite bahus and brainless men who are football so ppl are unable to enjoy a story where there is a real woman and real man with their strength weakness and emotions. Everything right or wrong otherwise catch and fall romance.

exactly noone in real world will say this is right

but when you see from character perspective its right

everyone complain about daily soap or ekta gul or rs or any itv show but when they get different and fair thing they just start bursting

whenever i see if fl is shown somewhat telling the exact thing they start taunting like recently in patiala babes i seen

people just mind favorite and they get attached to it like they just want happy ending

Shruthi I agree darker stories make for an enjoyable watch and I am not saying story should preach morality. Coz even in real life nothing’s fair. But the debate will be on where right and wrong is concerned. Stories allow us to introspect our own emotions and there will be questions. Baazigar was a good movie back then and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Though I can empathise with SRK’s character and the loss he suffered there is no denying he was wrong in killing Shilpa Shetty’s character. That doesn’t mean I don’t like the movie. I do and I will never want it changed. But when a debate happens and if someone asks me if I felt SRK killing Shilpa was justified then my answer is a NO. I don’t think makers are trying to justify Maya. A story teller never justifies the actions of a character. He or she is telling a story and at the end it’s upon the reader or viewer to interpret the story their own way.

@Mandy u said it right. I enjoy bh2. Through my lens Maya killin rishi is wrong but from Maya lens she is right a story needs to be enjoyed from character perspective not from our perspective or our idea of right and wrong becoz i always believe ur right and wrong changes based on ur experience in life.@gaushiv haan when ppl see change they are not happy then how change will happen
