We’ve been so normalized to accept and forgive misgivings. It’s like a part of us. Then comes the twisted part which is love and marriage. Breaking free from ties, especially for women who have been married forever, is so ridiculously unacceptable. They’ve made peace with their life and has mastered the art of putting a perfect facade in front of the world.

When MJ said “smile” and Antara struggles to smile.. I SAW someone do that in real life. This is the harshest reality.

Our society is screwed up. Seriously. It's so anti-women. Whatever happens it's automatically our fault. I hate how men are kept free of accountability, dismissing while saying they're like that only. Why so?

Why are they let off the hook so easily while the victim suffers not only emotional turmoil also but public humiliation?
