I have to say, this year's roundtables with Male actors, Female actors, Directors & Newcomers was great.
Questions were great & even answers were great barring a few from the participants of the roundtable.

They were talking about exact same things that bother TV industry as well. The main focus was on the content & stories in the roundtable.

I hope if someday we can have roundtables for TV actors & directors as well on that level (One ITA discussion wasn't enough, we need more of that to wake these sleepyheads wake from their deep, ignorant slumber). Actors & directors working for Netflix & amazon prime also have great insights into how these platforms have changed how entertainment had been working in this country & how they are slowly bringing the western style of making shows with point-to-point scripts where writers have a much greater say along with actors with all the planning & framing of how they will show their stories. It's no joke that many Bollywood actors are willing to mark their digital debut as well which means that gap of TV & Movie actors can be easily bridged by Digital entertainment in the near future & I hope out TV actors & directors are smart enough to take this opportunity & shed their rigid inhibitions about the platform that will satisfy their creative hunger & give them recognition for their skills & give us some good content as well.

ITV is in desperate need of a revolution at this juncture. It will be 20 yrs since EK crap selling & many more like her coming to ruin the TV more & more with each passing day.

I'm desperately waiting for that day!!
As u said...One ita discussion is insignificant. This fact that especially for itv, we r at great loss of stories...This fact should reach more n more people.

When I was a child, nd there was no dish connection at my home...We used to watch serials of doordarshan with my family..There was content!!
I have watched old shows too...Nd udaan is my favourite till now...Infact it's story is so appealing in tis generation too.
There was variety ...But as more n more channels appeared...The freaking trp.system ruined everything.
From then...ITV is running according to some trend...First saas bahu, then hero ka marna aur phir zinda hoke wapis ana,
Then the dominating male ND bubbly heroine wali story, which works till now. There by some crime petrol type serials...Then mythological nd historical...Aur abi abi sanp.bicchu chal re hai😳

Midbetween...Ek bahut accha trend Chala Tha... finite shows ka...After the Zindagi channel launched, some good stories appeared, with a well written concept. Par Sbko bs paise kamane se Matlab.

Ryt now I'm watching dehleez, it's a good show with finite episodes, don't know why channels don't make finite shows, story acchi hogi to trp b ayegi...Aur phir ab to you tube nd apps b Hai...
