Exactly. Creative differences was the reason. the post by one of the producers says it all. In her caption, she said " many a slip between the cup and lip, but for that Bepannaah would have continued to entertain all its vast multitude of fans and viewers who were crazily in love with the cinevistas show "

I think it's because BP was an expensive show to begin with with Jenshad salary and production value was high. Seriously watch some Ekta shows to see how she recycles sets lmfao.

On top of that they wanted trp to be top 5, the way they were promoting it that time I knew we were in a dangerous place. Why do You think every time on Thursday whole forum used to freak on TRP? Their expectations were tooo great.

They didn't understand this concept is not for the masses and even with Jenshad, it had a restricted audience which is youth.

Then Biggboss came, I watch it, this season is shit but from their POV BB 11 was a monstrous hit so obviously they thought this was IT for them. Let me tell you the channel has interfered so much this season in BB, it's laughable and they have ruined the season with their biased crap.

The same way they wanted BP to keep soaring and kept messing up the storyline. Was this show the same after Arshad? No. Even makers and star cast knew it what could they do when channel is sitting on their heads. That's why they sought a way out to end the trauma. Colors the way they ended the show is vindictive almost like they an ultimate f**k you to BP makers. They made it personal.

Otherwise you saw that show kasam from Ekta, trp was low low low they kept it going for agesss. Why wouldn't they have let BP run it's course? Why bring Silsila back it wasn't performing great? It's all personal when it's with Colors

The thing is that channel doesn't care. It's not the first time they did it and defintiely won't be the last. With some of their new shows in line, their choice of show and target audience is clear. They no longer want to spend on shows that don't appeal to the supppsed TRP audience and that system itself is so rigged.
I don't think things are going to change any time. There is still enough population who will stick to TV content.

ITV isn't going to reform in many years to come and in fact go into oblivion for urban audience. Some shows may pop up with good content especially on Sony. Other channels are simply to scared to reform and can't blame them considering for them it's business.

For Ani sir and actors of the show, I hope they explore web which is the future with promising content And no interference. Even love stories have great scope there. Web platform has all sort of genres and I hope Indians explore other genres too and not just limit themselves to shows like that of Sacred games, Mirzapur, etc. TV audience will not accept the genres which modern audience wants to see.

I don't completely agree. Colors never wanted the show to gain high ratings. From the 3rd week onwards, they didn't start the episodes on time then within two months slot was changed to 9:30 for roop. Then for Bigg Boss, it shifted to 10:30 in September only in 1st week of slot change did the episodes start on time. After that episodes started at different times 10:40, 10:43, 10:45, 10:47, 10:50 they deliberately didn't start the episodes on time so that TRP doesn't come. The over promotion of BP on SM was just to gain likes and RTs. Channel were milking jenshad and shows's popularity for their own benefit. During the last couple of weeks they were still shamelessly promoting to rub salt on wounds.

Hopefully but that's most likely to remain our wishful thinking only. New stories with high scope for characters to evolve don't come up in a day. And who knows where life takes each of them now in professional terms. One thing this show taught was to not hold on to hopes always. And don't know if a new story with the same pair will be able to re-create that phenomenon again unless it's too strong of the characters.

For channel, it was the way to have a show with which they can knock into international market in years to come by selling dubbed versions of the show. They are still gonna earn huge profit from it.

Sp is still cashing IPK1 which is still thriving on the rage it created back in 2011-2012. BP will do the same for Colors. The show's end is just the beginning for the channel to cash it in future.

Certain pairs which become a rage during the show's run become a source of international revenue for the channels & channel knows what will sell. A love story like that of BP will sell any day on international platform with no dragging tracks & somewhat relatable characters. Some tracks may be overlooked here & there but overall, the show will immediately click among international audience like that of Turkey, Thailand, Peru, Arab, Indonesia & many others.

Colors rot in hell. If they wanted trp they should have let bepannah stay in 9:00 pm and not shift it. Interfering in story was the worst step they did.
