Last night will go down as a memorable night in BP land! It took a lot of efforts and coffee to put aside the very obvious clips coming up tonight to write this post 😆
The night Poosh's accident took place, Aditya and Zoya lost their sleep along with their sukoon. You can see every episode after that at night both of them are struggling in their individual beds to get some sleep. Aditya even goes out of the house and sleeps near a hill area but still lands up in tears. At the same time zoya listens to Yash's voice message all night at Zosh.
Then finally on the night of riots they both decided to spend the night at Zosh. At the start they again fidget, toss and turn out of habit. But once they face away from each other, both of them are able to talk out their struggle in just one line. I noticed here, Zoya was the first one to open up about her sleepless nights. She says 'kya karein humein aaj kal raatko neend nahi ati'. Even back then Zoya was all alone without her family no one to talk to and aroras' hated her. She did trust Adi enough to say what she felt. She finally found someone who she could open her heart to, someone who is going through the same pain as her. Which is why when Aditya says 'mujhe bhi' both of them have tears running down their eyes. Once their burden was off, it was the first time in weeks when both of them got a good night's sleep in each other's presence.
Second night comes during virani track. When Aditya over doses on medication and lands in Zoya's room. It was the first time aditya opened up his vulnerable side to zoya. He lies his head on her pillpw and cries about his divorce papers while Zoya understands his pain and tries to console him by talking about yash's signed paper. They both again speak out their heart's burden from the divorce papers and sleep in peace together. The next morning both of them are smiling in peace as Aditya sneaks out of her window.
Third night, in the jungle, they both are escaping rajveer. By third night their struggle begins to fade away into more of a memory. Instead of bitter betrayal they talk about the things their partner hated in them and laugh about it. In contrast to the first night, they face each other have small talks about their mutual likes and dislikes. But the bitterness of the past still clings on to them as both of them again face away from each other in tears. Admist everything they still find sukoon in each other's presence and sleep off in a strange jungle. In jail too at night, after getting beaten up and tortured they are peaceful for having each other at night and keep looking at one another to seek confidence.
After this, Aditya had left for Paris and Zoya stayed back in Mumbai. But when the episode starts after 6 months, you can see zoya's sukoon is gone again. She wakes up in the middle of the night missing aditya, wishing for him to come back. At the same time Aditya's sukoon also only returns when he sees Zoya on his laptop screen at night.
After he comes back from Paris, the first night they spend together is in Zoya's house during the floods. Aditya has a nightmare of losing zoya so goes running to her room only to find his sukoon staring him in the face. He realized that night Zoya was his sukoon and without her his nights will be sleep less.
They share a phone conversation at night sharing chips and coffee once which puts Zoya at peace too and she goes to sleep happily forgetting the tension of arshad. Her problems ended with just his voice.
They both loose their sukoon again when Arshad and Zoya almost get married. Zoya imagines Aditya all the time and loses sleep. The next time they find sukoon is when they are finally united. The first night of their wedding Aditya is not present beside Zoya in the morning and this puts Zoya at unease like the morning in today's episode.
Zoya had held his hand few days back and slept with his touch. Finally they are facing each other. Yesterday when she saw the two untouched plates, Zoya felt guilt. She hated herself for lying to Aditya while he was waiting at home for her to come back so they could have dinner together. Even then when he saw her he didn't mention the dinner, he asked her first about her abbu. Adi even mentions here that I can't sleep without you.
The gratitude of having such a loving husband comes down on Zoya and she slowly kisses him for being so damn sweet. Aditya may be not in his senses to respond but he still pulls her back through her MS. In all the chaos in her life, Zoya gives up trying to untie the MS from his shirt. She realizes someone is trying to break them apart so she herself doesn't want to remove her MS from him. She wants to have the sukoon of knowing that she will always be connected to him. So along with her MS she goes down to lay on his chest. He unknowingly holds her too and finally they find sukoon in each other's embrace.
Rest the Roshnaq-Zoya part I think shruthi has done a fantastic job so not going to repeat the same thing :) Only one thing, I loved it when Zoya said allah ki meher hai ki humein itne aache shuahar mile hai. There is a line in the zaroorat song when he says yeh mohabat teri lage rab ki koi meher. They both ackowledge that they are god's meher :)
