Dear Mods, as the serial is getting more popularity new fiction writers are coming up with new ideas. They need some help ... Even gonna start my own fiction in this forums too.

Help like

Colour coding in narration

Size

Making links to different Chapters

Banners and many more

Thanks Sonia for taking initiative. Though m no writer , Nor do i write OS/SS/FF, I m tryin to write something for bepannaah OS contest .Wil b really glad if u can help regarding Color coding and Font size. Also if u can provide guideline in how to write good OS

I am too lazy..I am about to start a new fiction on Maaneet in Geet Forums where I am writing since 7 years. The most loved fictional pair on all social platforms with IF along side Arshi. Now I want same response for Adiya writers too.

As my arm was injured so everything is pending n getting cursed by readers... I think side wise I will start that new plot here too.

1 Colour coding means to highlight dialogues used by characters with different colours.It doesn't mean to use all variety of colours but chose one or two for whole work or just single one. U can also make a typical colour as permanent identity for ur character.. Like for Adi n Zoya.

2 Font should be this much that a reader can read it easily.Not more or less than size 3-4.Try to use Arial or Times new Roman font.But for titles and to shift situations u can increase size.

3 Generally use Red n Blue colour.It separate dialogue from flow of ur narration.U can also use some bright colour too, other than red n blue but limit it to one or two in whole plot

Separate whole story in different paragraphs. Not so lengthy.It becomes difficult for readers otherwise.

4: U can make dialogue in bold too. Always quote it in inverted commas.

5 : Not necessarily u have to write in all english. But can use Hinglish 😆.. This is more fun and readers take it with open arms.

6: Banners attract more readers...

7: If it is not an OS give little info regarding characters with their pics if possible.

8: Make clickable links for different Chapters instead of writing which chapter is on what page.

Prologue in starting of fiction gives little info regarding the plot or ur idea.It is always a crucial point to pull readers toward ur work..Epilogue at the end may be quick wrap up or the essence of fiction what u wanted to convoy and how u wanna c the story afterwards where u stopped.

So much more to say but this much Gyan is enough till now 😆

1. Font size 2 Georgia looks good in stories (and I personally think it looks quite professional too😳) and Times New Roman size 2-3 is also nice. (These are my preferences only😳)

2. For making clickable links use -

[URL=Paste the link] Name you want to give[/] add URL after slash in the braces at the end.

i.e. remove the italics part. I have to write it in this way because it was converting into a link. Write only pink and blue part.

3. For Banner Request for FF/OS/SS etc.-

5. You can use ["NOCOPY] and ["MEMBERSONLY].

If you don't want anyone to copy your work use [/NOCOPY].

Similarly if you want only IF members to read your post then use [/MEMBERSONLY] in you post. (Remove the slash sign from both whenever you put them.)

Thanks for the links. This is just to make little easy for readers here. Otherwise size 2-3 looks professional u r rite. I personally use Times New Roman n Georgia. I don't know about other forums . This trend started 7 years ago.Most of writers started to use colour coding as majority of readers demanded this...Those fictions are most popular with most successful writers till now..

Otherwise I am also a professional blogger . Here I write just for my satisfaction as per demand of readers, as they want. I am happy with the love people are giving me since 7 years.
