Hammie a very good post. One of the things I want to highlight is that when adiya were arrested first time adi was passing sarcastic comment at zoya. He went with his papa. Only arjun was openly concerned for zoya. Once he went however he sent arjun to bail her out. He never made her feel he was with her yet he was with her. Zoya comes out of the prison confident able to deal with the cockroach. Fri episode was different. Even under extreme torture his eyes seeked her out. And this zoya knew. She withstood the torture for him so that he doesn't break. His eyes pleaded with her not to break and when she couldn't breathe he summoned all courage to stand up and crack silly jokes. That scene was a beauty and hc nailed it. Though cracking jokes his eyes looked at her with concern till she smiled. For me the journey of zoya is to understand adi,to know even when he is not there he is still with her. She just has to hold on and fight. His help will come at the right time. Arjun will come but the blank cheque will belong to adi only. This is the story of love that will challenge a system that prosecutes innocents. Doesn't matter it is ipc or doesn't matter it is religion. Both oppress the righteous and both create the perception they are with righteous . The hypocrisy. The battle is to expose the hypocrites that allows ravan to thrive and punish ram at the same time chanting his name.

One more thing I want to add. Adiya garlanded each other. Aditya asked what power a mangalsutra holds when Zoya was arguing about its significance.
Actually MS has no power it is the emotions of two people connected by that chain that give power to it.
Similarly those garlands had no power. But for both Aditya and Zoya it means something. Their emotions are connected to that garland though they have not realized it. Unknowingly that garland pulls them to each other which Rajveer sees as Zoya shouts Aditya.

Dear Hammie,
hellooo Tia😃

Excellent post. 👏
thanks was a bit long... me waffled on, quite a bit
On my first watch of the episode, I could hardly blink away my tears. It was painful to watch two innocent souls getting beaten at the hands of blind law. It was only on my second watch that I could think rationally about the episode.
yes. it came across as horrendous treatment given to inmates.. awaiting trial of some conviction.
It is commendable that that RV quoted the right section of IPC 👍🏼 (Section 353, IPC) when Adi punched him. Hindi shows usually overlook such details. Also, adultery is indeed a criminal offence in India when committed by a man (Section 497, IPC). It is highly off-putting if a crime investigator quotes wrong laws and IPC sections. Good job by script writers. 👏
well .. what struck me was the violence carried out in custody.. I believe he will be suspended.. rightly so.. that's how it should be. Rajveer to me seemed to be in breach of custodial laws..the violence, was included to have an impact on Adi and Zoya.. it did..brought them one step closer to each other..
In this episode, I watched Adi and Zoya fulfilling the third vow of their incomplete marriage - the couple prays to God to give enough strength so that they can share the happiness and pain together. I guess, in the coming episodes they would unknowingly progress towards the fourth vow they made to each other - commitment between the two souls to increase in love and respect for each other and their respective families. Adi already asked his dad to save Zoya too in the precap.
yes.. great point.. loyalty to each others kin too... me keen to see if Harsh agrees to fight for adi and zoya too. If not.then there might be dissension brewing up between father and son.. But who knows, Harsh take Zoya's involvement as a blessing in disguise..
I don't know why the handcuffs reminded me of 50 shades of Grey. 😆 (RV punching Adi in jail) Maybe my mind too went on to crack silly jokes, like Adi, to relieve me of the torture.
hum fifty shades of grey.. all my pals, my cuz has it in her room... but me never read it.. Adi's jokes about food... me loved... her hyperventilation alarmed me.. wondered has Zoya got a respiratory condition ..?? kafi dramatic dekhti thi...😛..
Looking forward to Monday's episode, and your brilliant write-ups. 🤗
no more busting inmates I hope.. after what they went through.. they need victim support.. if you ask me.. What they went through was serious.. I was quite put off.
If you find some time, do peep in my latest post in the main forum.
yes me done it... and thoroughly enjoyed your fantastic piece of writing..😃... thanks for sharing your thoughts Tia.. and yes till we meet again... much love hammie
love your siggy gift...👏 looks very becoming

oh thanks...had to get my head round the heightened custodial meted out to inmates, awaiting trial and sentencing...

this is a brilliant comparison Shruti... one can see both have a long way since then and now

below sums up the soul of this extraordinary love saga
This is the story of love that will challenge a system that prosecutes innocents. Doesn't matter it is ipc or doesn't matter it is religion. I totally agree..one encounters two faced, two timing, people around us.. professionally, within peers, within the family.. its hard to be on guard.. however with two agencies ,that are known , to be standard bearers of code of conduct.. i.e law and creed.. we are forced to abide by the rules.. regretfully as you point out these are the two strong areas, where truth is manipulated to serve ulterior motives.. But our two protagonists.. have only just began to be a little more wiser ,then they were before... and wisdom comes from the divine.. true love is a strong component of divinity..
thanks for a stimulating comment... much love, hammie

Actually MS has no power it is the emotions of two people connected by that chain that give power to it...yes he based it as an evident , lifeless object.. Zoya goes to explain its figurative significance.. which is it means being connected to each other.. a solemn commitment that involves two people..
Similarly those garlands had no power. But for both Aditya and Zoya it means something. Their emotions are connected to that garland though they have not realized it. Unknowingly that garland pulls them to each other which Rajveer sees as Zoya shouts Aditya.
loved the garland metaphor in the prison scenario... thanks again for sharing your thoughts.. love hammie

To be true, I couldn't watch Friday's episode especially due to the violent scenes. I can't take it at all.. So I skipped the episode and then later watched it again by skipping the scenes..
The episode was very moving on a emotional level.
In fact, it was the exact opposite of the earlier one where though both Aditya and Zoya were on a run, they were enjoying each others company at the Iftaar preparation.. That was when Zoya told him that as they are true, they will always be rescued some way or the other..
But the very next time when they are almost successful to get help from their parents, they are pulled back ruthlessly by Rajveer..

Inspire of the torture and more over not knowing the reason behind that torture, they are able to gain strength from each others presence.. And this true presence in each others life will help them overcome all the troubles that Rajveer will create...

I only hope that at least their parents are supportive ( Zoya's parents understand that Aditya's actions have helped Zoya and vice versa) and agree to their relationship which is still unnamed.

I prefer action..as in the fighting front, not below the belt violence.. but could gather, there was a reason behind all the violence the protagonists were being subjected to..

yes, this scene was to spear forward the softening towards each other they had already begun... seeing each other. Thus seeing each other tortured culminates in drawing them closer

you are so right in thinking so... Rajveer, to me is strengthening their bond in each othe r..without realizing..

in the precap it showed they get to see their families... lets hope adi and Zoya Are granted that right... lovely to have you here sharing your valid points... much love hammie
