Colors confirm launch date of Bigg Boss 8

Colors has confirmed that its huge reality TV show Bigg Boss 8 will be launching on Sunday 21st September.

As already widely reported, the show will take the daily 21:00 - 22:00 slot replacing BeIntehaa' and Rangrasiya'. While BeIntehaa' will move to the late night 23:00 slot, Rangrasiya' will be going off-air on Friday 19th September. Both shows started in December last year.

Bigg Boss 8 will be hosted by Salman Khan. Details of this year's format are yet to be announced but judging by the promos on-air, the show will have an aeroplane backdrop.

Snapdeal has been confirmed as the presenting sponsor of Bigg Boss 8 in India powered by Oppo Mobile and driven by Maruti Suzuki. The channel has signed L'oreal, TVS Motors and Cardekho.com as associate sponsors.
