And I don't mean ZaYa. The writers have been quite meherbaan on us this past week with some amazing ZaYa moments. And most them have been just the two of them so I can't complain much.
What I meant is that we not getting enough RiYat. I was so excited with the prospect of the Haiders coming to Mumbai only to see how Rizwan and ayat will interact with each other after the whole Rizwan confessing his love for Ayat situation and the way Ayat reacted. But hame kuch nahi mila. They acted as if nothing happened. I was a bit confused when I saw Riz and ayat standing next to each during the cake cutting ceremony and thought to myself if missed something. So I went back, and saw the other episodes and nothing.
This is so unlike the writers of the show. They never leave any loose ends phir how can they leave this out. It felt weird seeing that there was no reaction from the two as if nothing happened.
I blame all this focus on Barkat drama. I'd rather watch RiYat interaction then see Barkat's history being reveled. Kya karti thi pehle, uske baad kya karti thi. They tend to give more importance on a cameo character then the ones that have been present from day 1 and one that seems more interesting.
