I totally did not understand why they were both teary in that scene.

But if noticed carefully, it looks like offscreen. Like they had a good laugh just before that scene when she moves away and after he tells her it doesnt suit. They laughed and got teary, but had to shoot the scene. 🤣 I dint feel it was made so for the characters.

I could be wrong.
