After thinking about what you said, it could be true. Think about it, when Zain got hurt, Rizwan called Aayat to check up on Zain because he's her brother. I know that he's like a brother to her but that was so random, according to me that is. Also Rizwan's prayer for Aayat to never leave Mumbai is another hint. I hate the suspense of it but I'm excited to see how they'll reveal everything.

No because Ghulam and Shabana knew how Barkat and Ayat looked like when they were small. And if they adopted Ayat without knowing then wouldnt Suraiyya and Osman find that suspicious too.
