A chilled out grumbling Zain sat at his office cabin hungry and starved grumbling away to Aliya on his screen saver. His new center of attention. Upto his usual banter, he complained about her new interest, the so called BF, who had her attention. His food had come and he asked for it to be set up, yet his mind goes abuzz on hearing Aliya hadn't made any for him. It was the same food he had he had preferred over her's a day back. Curious he heads home, pulled by the desire to have her hand-made food for lunch.
'Surprise Raid marta hoon' he mumbles gritting his teeth as he walks with determination, only to be stopped at the sight of Chand Bibi, whose concern doesn't miss him. Aliya hadn't cooked anything, something small yet made an impact, as he muses why she didn't. He knew she loved to cook and it was a part of her schedule.
As Chand Bibi hints on an unusual event, Aliya's mysterious behaviour, his happiness knows no bounds, his Chand Jaan now knew as well (about her affair as he assumes) yet the conversation spirals towards the truth, and his senses are jolted awake at the harsh accusation he comes to terms with.
The mischievous and jovial Zain with Chand Bibi is now out of the window and in comes the transition of Shock, anger, hurt, betrayal and disgust.
He ran to her with a million thoughts in mind, all that ended with a question mark.
With Aliya, that which echoed above all was his concern for his father, as traces of tears pooled his eyes, yet the hardness in his eyes fought them away.

It was fun to banter with you. Acceptance of his growing fondness for her.
But it ends here. That relationship which they had weaved in the past days ended for him here. He unknowingly yet in his tumult of emotions accepted that there was something to them <3 That they had something.

She was MamuKiBhanji then how Dare she hurt Osman, his father, her Mamu. Her Only Support, he is aware. The only One who loves her the MOST in the house. He is aware. Then how could Aliya? He raises another question as he witnesses the jewelry on the bed. As she tells him they are fake, he raises another question on her character. An idea your BF gave you. Disgust at her spewed from his eyes. Irony. Hadn't Aliya called him the same days ago.
I believe this to be the most beautiful aspect, as Zain and Aliya discover each other, learn who the other person is, such misunderstandings deter them from coming close and distances them, yet as it clears away, and truth comes shining out, they come closer with a better understanding of each other each time.
Get away from the Back door before dad comes, before he sees your truth, before he loses his faith on you. Get lost.
She had hit home. Nothing harmed his father, Nothing could hurt his father, he wouldn't allow it.

And lastly as he comes home with the bag of jewelry in hand.
Aliya has become the topic of discussion in this House. And this time it is that she has sold the family jewelry.
An amused expression towards Aliya clears for us, that he is having the time of his life as he watches her stunned and helpless.
Yet in true words, he is defending Aliya once again. About to give her that Respect and Honor which the ladies in the house have been trying to take away from her.
Which in that one moment, he had taken away from her.
Zain Abdullah may not be big on verbal apologies but he definitely does know how to make things right.
Harshad Arora, words are not enough to praise you for your performance, and this post has gotten long anyway. Would end with saying, Zain wouldn't be Zain without you.
