I don't know about the government but this is true in Islam! Many people have two wives.. even if it's not allowed legally, religiously it is.
Unlike Qubool Hai, the man with two wives and all the drama is portrayed in a light mode so I think it will be fun to watch how he cops with 'em! šŸ˜† But I'm sure.. there'll be a twist or something with these two! šŸ¤”

URM. In my families there are men who have two wives.
Not sure about the law in India but here in the UK it's illegal to be married twice at the same time but my grandad earlier married my grandma and shifted to UK and then years later he married again to a younger woman from Bangladesh [as a way to help her financially etc?]

In the eyes of Islam he has two wives but in the eyes of the UK law he has one which is my grandma.

I'm not Muslim or Indian, even in my culture there's polygamy. Although, it's less common now. It's no big deal having the polygamy concept in Be Intehaa it just part of the Muslim culture and the show is based on Muslim culture so just chill and enjoy Be Intehaa.

As far as i know, 2 marriages at a time is allowed in Islam, IF the 1st wife allows.
Maybe up to 4 marriages are allowed...

Someone do correct me if i am wrong.

It is a request to the Thread Maker and anyone also who has replued to please remove content comparing the show to Qubool Hai, this will just cause arguments, and in any case according to the forum rules, such comparisons on shows storylines are not allowed to be made

Discussion thus far has been cordial and informative so this thread will remain open
