i think the guy who plays shamal is a fine actor and plays the part beautifully. the way i understand their relationship and track is that looks dont matter in this relationship, its the connection of the heart and understanding that draws them together. it shows that looks dont matter when it comes to love. its the person that matters.

How can we judge a person by the way they look??? Shamal challenges Akashi just like she challenges him. They bring out a positive change in each other. It's not about how handsom or charming a person is.

As an actor the person that play Shamal is brilliant. He does full justice to the role. Such a different and fresh character.

Shamal and Akashi are the only reason I watch this show.
Hats Off productions made a great choice by casting hime for this role.

Can't wait for more Shamal and Akashi chemistry.

Cheers!

I think you're missing the whole point of Akashi and Shamal being together. Their relationship is supposed to go beyond looks. Manoj is a great actor and he's play Shamal so well!

Manoj is cut out for the role of Shamardas. He's doing absolute justice to the role. He's playing the role of Shamar- a coarse, illiterate, unpretentious man brilliantly. Perfect choice of actor by the creatives. I like him. I like Akashi-Shamar pair. I like Adaa and Manoj.
People who cannot see beyond the external charms seriously need to grow up.

Agree with all above.......hats off to Manoj Mishra for portraying the character of Shamal to perfection. Men need not always be handsome to fall in love with..Shamal had so much of cruelity and negativity in him...but from within his heart is pure....see the way he saved Akashi from those gundas, put haldi to her wounds after the car accident, brought her payal, and also gave her some fruit....he is not so bad as he looks by his face......he is slowly and steadily getting transformed and in sometime will surely win audiences' hearts completely. 😉😃😊

I also agree with everyone else and think he's a really good actor whose playing his part VERY well! As for his looks, thats a part of his character aswell I guess.. we're not meant to find him attractive so his dress/hair/makeup is all done that way. Once they change his wardrobe/look, he'll be alright just like the tons of actresses/actors who we find "good looking" because of their makeup 🤔
