Wat " sabak" maa t waant to give to the society by punishing ananya out of society's eyes ?? She is a cruel woman n now ananya will think abt her father's well being n so she will just nod her head by submitting herself to maa t but I really hope for the best from annaya.

Maybe she thinks revealing it to the public will mean police interference and what not.

I think she wants to totally isolate Ananya and make her suffer in private, without having anyone to share her predicament with.
