He was pitch perfect when he expressed himself in my POV. three reasons

1. He has never been lonely with girls before.though done I'd his sister he has a dominating equation with her.for such a person to fall on love (in ananya s eyes the love s real) it should look like this

2. He knows ananya can't b taken for granted. So he tries to woo her with dialogue baazi..agar haat pakadke or hip keenchega to annu ll kill him. So passion will not work here

3. He proposed her like a gentleman.which startled ananya as she had seen majorly his rough side.

I liked the way he neither went overboard nor tried to get touchy touchy.

So my take is the scene, the tone and the delivery was perfect.
