Ketki questioning her parvarish?

I knew Ketki was a mother who would never do anything in her wildest dreams to hurt her sons, but here it was the question of punishment. She saved her sons from law by telling lies. When her MIL asked her why she did not let her sons get punished, she held herself responsible. More than 90% of the mothers would do the same in such a situation. That is what a mother is. God forbid any mother in such a situation as ketki. Every mother gives the best of life, education, culture and values to her child. Then why she held herself responsible for the wrong doings of her children, just because she has given them birth and raised them. Poor woman questions her own upbringing.

It is true, if the son is bad an unworthy then why save wealth, and if the son is good and worthy then why save wealth. In this KK scenario it would have been apt if they had asked their sons to earn their living on their own. Let them face the harsh realities of life and learn the lesson hard way, then might be the situation would have been different. Both their sons being kapoot are fighting over the wealth earned by their father and hurting the sentiments of the old couple.

As the childr grows up, peer pressure, outside influences and modern life makes some of them lose those childhood values. How can the mother be blamed? But sadly, many mothers tend to blame themselves.

But we can't blame mothers for questioning their upbringing. It is said that being a mother is the most difficult job and if the children go wrong in life, then there is a sense of failure. Especially as most parents give their heart and soul in bringing up their children.

Keshu and Ketki have done everything that most parents do. If and when they do come out of this situation, I don't think that they should forgive Mehul and Ketan. But as parents, maybe their heart would melt but their relationship with their children can never, ever be the same again!
