I solely am in love with the sweet and naughty discussion between the women regarding 'suhaagraat'. Trust me, it was new to me. We hardly find such depiction anywhere. Many may have found it to be embarrassing but no, it was not. It was light and playful. Like how often do we get such light hearted fun content on TV?
Okay, so about Anirudh and Bondita discussing about consent. It has to be the sweetest thing that they did! I mean how are they so pristine and raw? Instead of doing all that sharmana- varmana ( the typical ITV thing), they talked it out fearlessly without much fear like a normal couple would. This actually is realistic. Instead of that typical 'blushing and running', they asked for consent and all which I loved thoroughly.
I wonder how it this show so progressive after being set in the pre independence India.
Trust me, my mother watched Udaariyaan and it is so shamefully promoting extramarital affair. It has literally normalised it.
So, if people don't get embarrassed after watching that explicit infidelity then how come watching something relevant is embarrassing.
Discussing intimacy is normal for adults and it should not be bashed for your personal reasons of having a narrow mindset.
