I've really not words to express my feelings for this update.. It had all the things I wanted.. This update was so very fulfilling to read I'm still in rudhita land dreaming 😌 all due to this update
I was waiting to see saudamini's reaction seeing rudhita on bed holding hands sitting close ahh just this line is so soothing and aniruddh making "sense out of the situation" Was cherry on cake boy is leaving no chance to make things more "entertaining" 😅 I can very well imagine bondita's surprised face seeing aniruddh complaining about not knocking thr door of "married couples" Room to saudamini can this scene be more soothing.. Yes it did when aniruddh literally made saudamini rush back at her home "why are you here anyways.. " 😅 then again one more googli "we were.. We are nothing now " Itni khushi just this line is enough for me to 💃ya forgot to mention a scene that made butterflies fly in my stomach 😌 aniruddh pushing bondita back to bed in front of saudamini... Attack dilwa ke mante pati babu 😅
I always imagine scenarios in which aniruddh is having a difficult time to control his emotions seeing his own wife's beauty and here toh he was having a difficult time in standing too.. I loved it only if bondita could notice his condition
The sindoor part of the update really touched my heart.. Its the same sindoor that once irked him and now he felt proud of it and sindoor not being at its place now irks him.. What a transformation pati babu
Kitaaben kho gai.. Now everybody should know books will not be the only reason for him to call his wife.. Aniruddh having his shirt buttons open I was like pati babu kuch toh hosh karo 😅 kahin bondita ka bukhar badh na jae..
My most favorite part of the update was aniruddh finally answering saudamini's idiotic question .. Ohh I loved it him bringing his wife to the front and declaring that who is more beautiful and saudamini madam too couldn't help but acknowledge her beauty
He was all set to send saudamini to pagal khana and I can't tell how much I was loving that.. He surely made her task easy..
From him telling bondita to not call him pati babu to going mad at her for her not calling the same 😅 sahi ja rahe hai pati babu.. How beautifully his feelings have developed for the same girl whom once he considered as just his zimmedaari ..
This is time where I thought that's it this update is at its peak then boom aniruddh picked her up in his arms 😯 in terrace and bondita beating him 😅 I chuckled at this and the next moment went emotional seeing two souls who are trying to find what's wrong .. One blaming herself for the mess and the other having the determination to solve the mess
Now please don't make me wait for longer I don't think it would be good for mt health..

CHAPTER 5
Aniruddh couldn’t see her cry and he literally begged her to stop crying.
“Please… Please Bondita don’t cry.” He pleaded. Unknowingly, a tear left his eyes. He opened his eyes to wipe her tears away as he moved back. Bondita opened her eyes and looked at Aniruddh. The trance was still on.
“Tell me Bondita, what’s bothering you?” asked Aniruddh.
Bondita; “I am.. I am sorry Aniruddh Babu.. I-” she couldn’t complete as Aniruddh held her wrists which shut her up and asked; “What? Why are you calling me Aniruddh Babu now? You called me Pati Babu all these years and what caused the change huh?” he asked, fire spitting from his eyes.
“You didn’t liked it when I called you Pati Babu right? I know that. You even asked me to call you Barrister Babu but then I wasn’t able to at that time. So I thought to save you from the misery! Aniruddh Babu suits right? Anyway, anyway I know you do not consider me as your wife. It might have been irking you to hear pati babu from my mouth all these years. But now, I can understand your emotions, Pat-Aniruddh Babu…!” confessed Bondita and Aniruddh couldn’t believe it.
He spat back; “But what is that core reason for this sudden changes huh? No sindoor, no pati babu nothing. All this in just a day! Woah, what happened? Tell me Bondita, I need answers.”
“Aniruddh Babu… I don’t-”
“Shhhh” Aniruddh shushed her as he cupped her cheeks once again. The sudden physical contact made her shudder. “I asked for answers Bondita, I do not want to hear any donts and wonts!” He whispered, so faintly that his breath was fanning on her face.
“Aniruddh Babu, you… you please…” Bondita trailed off and Aniruddh, understanding her difficulty, moved back letting her speak. He had a little smirk on his face understanding how his proximity affected her. But suddenly it was brushed off and he thought why he was happy with that.
“Tell me Bondita. I am all ears.” He crossed his arms across his chest.
Bondita pinched the bedsheet as she started. “I… I heard all that, Aniruddh Babu.” Said Bondita. Aniruddh was confused. What she was talking about, he had no idea. Aniruddh inched closer to her.
“What? What did you hear?”asked Aniruddh. Bondita was looking down at the bed and bedsheets, clutching on them. He got nothing but silence. Aniruddh held her shoulders with one hand and touched her chin for her to look up and asked again; “What did you hear Bondita?”
“I.. I-” before she could say anything, she fell onto the bed. Aniruddh was shocked at the sudden movement. He stood still for a moment trying to decipher everything before he approached her.
He patted on her shoulders trying to wake her up.
“Bondita! Bondita, wake up..! What happened…!” He was so worried. He took her into his arms and held her face, shaking it gently trying to wake her up. Touching her like that, without being in an emotional trance reminded him, his wife was sick. And on top of that, she didn’t had any food or medicine whatsoever.
He mentally slapped himself for putting her in a tough place when he actually should have taken care of her. He looked at her face. She looked so pale and sick, he felt so guilty of not acknowledging her struggles and situation. Her face screamed she wasn’t well. Still, the sight of her face without the sindoor irked him so much. He gently pulled the hair strands from her face, which was standing as an obstacle in front of him which stopped him from seeing that beautiful sight- The face of his wife.
He made her lay down on the bed before covering her with the blanket. He went to the kitchen to find Bihari and some workers who were busy in work. Trilochan Kaka entered the kitchen and found Aniruddh, he passed a smile to Trilochan Kaka as he approached.
“Namaste Kaka!” Aniruddh greeted him and touched his feet. Trilochan blessed him before he asked about the bahu.
He asked; “Bahu kahan hai? Tumne usko bulaya kyu Aniruddh?”
“Kuch kaam tha, isiliye bulaya. Woh kamre me hai, uski tabiyat kharab hai, ooper se kuch khaya bhi nahi! Behosh ho gayi woh.” Aniruddh said.
“Oh khayal rakho Bahu ka tum. Use kaam karne na dena jab tak woh theek na ho.” Trilochan said. He left after giving some instructions to Bihari about work.
Aniruddh made a platter of food and was about to go up when he saw a guy sitting in the living room, who wasn’t a familiar face for Aniruddh. Aniruddh ignored him and was about to go upstairs when the sound produced from that unfamiliar mouth made him stop. – Bondita. What this guy had to do with Bondita? Aniruddh stood there in the hope that he would get to know something about the guy and his relation with Bondita.
That was when Trilochan Kaka who was in a conversation with the guy called out for Aniruddh.
“Aniruddh! Aniruddh yahan aao…!” Aniruddh was taken aback as he felt he was caught overhearing or something. But he walked into the living room with the plate still in his hand.
Aniruddh looked at the guy and Trilochan with a confused expression. Trilochan deciphered it and helped him.
“Yeh Niranjan Babu hai! Bahu ka dost, college ke!” Trilochan Kaka said excitingly. Although he was against women’s empowerment, Bondita & Aniruddh had managed to change it over these years.
Aniruddh frowned at the introduction. Bondita’s friend? She never mentioned about any such friends! Actually, she never talked about any of her friends. Aniruddh gave an awkward handshake to Niranjan.
“Aniruddh Roy Chowdhary…” Aniruddh said, forcing himself to smile.
“Niranjan Basu” he said, as he shaked hands with Aniruddh. As the introduction was over, Aniruddh looked at Niranjan in a questioning way as he was mentally asking why Niranjan was here.
“Actually, I came to Tulsipur to attend my relative’s wedding. Bondita has talked a lot about her home and you people. So I just thought, why not give her a surprise visit!” Niranjan explained himself as he sensed the questions in the air.
Aniruddh smiled even though the idea of someone “surprising” Bondita other than him or the family didn’t really impress him. He took a look at Niranjan. He looked hardly 20, young and handsome and for no reason at all, Aniruddh Roy Chowdhary felt a strange kind of dislike growing inside himself for the guy standing infront of him.
“uhh- Can I meet Bondita?” asked Niranjan being a bit awkward.
Trilochan Kaka replied; “Ohh, kyu na-“ Aniruddh interrupted with the speed of light.
“No!” he said and Trilochan and Niranjan looked at him like they saw some alien. Aniruddh understood what blunder he had done.
“I, I meant, Bondita is actually not well. She is down with fever.” Aniruddh held up the plate and continued; “See? I am taking food for her upstairs.” He gave a wicked forced smile to Niranjan.
“Oh then, milna toh banta hai! Meri saheli bimaar hai toh milna hi hai na…!” Niranjan said and Aniruddh scrunched his nose. He wished if he could have that old orthodox Trilochan Kaka for now. But na! He didn’t get. At last he was forced to take Niranjan to Bondita.
Binoy, was in another corner of the living room noticing everything, weaving another plan to separate Bondita from Aniruddh. A revenge for the lose she caused to him.

Niranjan entered the room with Aniruddh following him. Aniruddh saw his wife still deep in sleep, her face looking even more pale. His gaze then shifted to Niranjan, Aniruddh saw him looking at his face. Did his face soften seeing her? Is that love in his eyes? Aniruddh was overthinking now.
“Sit down Niranjan.” Said Aniruddh showing him the stool near the bed. Niranjan sat down with a smile on his face.
“Don’t wake her up. Let her rest.” Said Niranjan.
“As if I was going to disturb her sleep for you!” murmered Aniruddh.
“What?” Asked Niranjan.
“Haha..Nothing!” said Aniruddh trying terribly to hide his unreasonable despise.
“Well…! It’s a bit personal question to ask, but Bondita said you married her to save her life.!? That’s really interesting!” said Niranjan. “It might have been tough to do a big sacrifice like that, when you really doesn’t consider an 8 year old as your wife…” Niranjan was glorifying Aniruddh’s sacrifice but Aniruddh didn’t even feel an ounce of happiness hearing compliments from him.
Aniruddh looked back at Bondita, and her face without the sindoor actually fired his anger and unreasonable jealousy. He rushed to the dressing table to pick up some sindoor before smearing it on her hairline. Niranjan looked at him, with a frown.
“Actually, Bondita never really avoids wearing her sindoor. She is sick so, I do it for her now incase she forgets. If she wakes up and see herself without the sindoor, she will get really angry. So I thought, as a responsible and loving…” he emphasized on the last word as he talked; “husband, I should do the honours.” Aniruddh gave him a 440 volts smile as he finished.
Niranjan smiled back at him, genuinely impressed at Aniruddh’s thoughts.
“Aniruddh… Babu…”
Both Aniruddh and Niranjan looked at the bed hearing the faint voice to see Bondita opening her eyes. As she opened the face she saw wasn’t her husband’s but Niranjan’s.
“Niranjan?” Bondita asked rubbing her eyes to get a clear view of that unbelievable sight.
“Yeah! Bondita, it’s Niranjan.” He said smiling at her. Bondita sat up being really happy to see her friend, the idea of him visiting her making her happy.
“How are you Bonditaaa…!” asked Niranjan, affectionately passing a handshake to Bondita, to which she reciprocated with all the consent.
But there, Aniruddh was standing with anger flaring up inside him seeing Bondita with another man for the first time in his life. He was being unreasonably angry, he knew that but he didn’t knew why. Already he was angry at Bondita for calling him Aniruddh babu even when in half sleep and now she was being so happy seeing Niranjan, completely ignoring his presence. He was burning in a fire he lit himselves!
“Hahah, I am fine Niranjan. Just a bit sick. How are you?” asked Bondita. They were busy in their conversation and Aniruddh just couldn’t bear this, he had to stop this at any cost so he jumped in.
“Bondita, how about eating something now?” asked Aniruddh to which Bondita actually acknowledged his presence, or that’s what Aniruddh thought.
“Actually I am not-”
“Don’t tell me you aren’t hungry, you just fell unconscious some time ago..” Aniruddh said stern and Bondita didn’t have an answer for that. She nodded and she took the plate from Aniruddh which again pissed him off. Because he used to feed her at times when she was sick. Now she wasn’t even letting him feed?
At the same time Bondita was being formal and stopping him from feeding because she would feel uncomfortable to be that affectionate with him infront of her friend when their relation was in a complicated state. But little did Aniruddh knew what was going on in her mind!
She quietly ate the morsels but then Niranjan started talking with her and both were engaged in their joyful conversation and when Bondita tried to include Aniruddh into their talks he moved away and in some time, he left the room running to his study.
As he reached the study, he fell into his chair breathing furiously with his hands turning into fists . He was so angry and confused, he couldn’t decipher what was happening with him.
He was all against them being husband and wife and always asked her not to wear sindoor and today, he admitted he liked her wearing the sindoor of his name and also smeared it on her by himself?
He asked her not to call him pati babu and now he is irked that she is calling him by his name?
What has his woman done to him? He never felt these kind of complex emotions or feelings for anyone, not for Saudamini. He was irritated with Saudamini’s talks about the world and customs, at the same time he adored Bondita’s thoughts and progressive speeches about the world and how it needs to change.
When Saudamini ought to change him and his thoughts, Bondita helped him achieve his dreams and not once she tried to change him or criticize him. Saudamini called him a disgrace, but Bondita always admired and looked upto him.
When his family members rejected him and failed to understand him, it was only her, his wife who understood him and his intentions. What he felt for Saudamini was, so shallow, mere infatuation. But now what he was feeling, it felt more deep, more intense, more beautiful!
“Am I..Am I in love with..” Aniruddh couldn’t utter those words. His lips were shivering from the realization he drawn out from his thought process. “I.. Am I in love with..” He wiped his face in anxiety; “Bondita?”
“Am I in love with Bondita?” he asked himself.

Happy realization Anirudh Babu! Now please do the honour and confess your feelings to Bondita before she cooks anymore bizarre khichdis on her head! Though I loved jealous Anirudh, don't want this misunderstanding to continue for long. Also can Binoy mind his own business? Bilayati kauaaa 🤢
