How was she off the mark? Everyone has their own opinions!😛I dont think Leena just wrote whole of statement for nothin, look back and you'll see people sayin that. Leena was just sayin that even if Vidya wears such clothes that are really modern she would still have that village air in her, if we leave our home countries and go live in a foreign country it doesn't mean we forget about our culture, sanskaar and everythin!😉And become totally foreignish!😆

off the mark? i doubt so. i've seen so many posts in this forum complaining about the way vidya looks. that is why i suggested maybe people would stop harping on it if vidya wore a bikini or got a crew cut.

well it's frankly very annoying when people keep on saying vidya dresses like this vidya dresses like that. her character is that of a village belle. village belles don't dress modern or have fancy hairstyles.

yes vidya is old-fashioned but that's the way she is. sweet, traditional, simple and naive. then why complain about the way she looks, the way she behaves, the way she dresses.

vidya will definitely change when she gets an education or when sagar suggests some changes in her behaviour. and for her sake, i hope that comes soon.

on a seperate matter, vidya used to dress up only for her husband and the mentally ill sagar didn't care how she looked. then when sagar recovered he didn't recognise her, so she reverted to even simpler sarees and minimal makeup and jewellery. if her husband starts telling her to dress up i'm sure vidya will adopt a more modern look so it's all in the hands of sagar now. cos vidya only dresses up for her husband and no one else.

Let me ask when was the last time you saw sagar's sisters in mini or bikini. If you have then Jiffy is on target. Can tell me when was Sindora in bikini or mini?😆

Let me tell you people who are left india and are watching indian serial has not forgotten their culture... now that is another topic. Please be sensible..not making effort to learn in not culture..it is being weak.

and not making an effort to learn might be considered weak but not in vidya's case. her husband when she married him didn't expect her to be beautiful or educated. he just enjoyed her company and she enjoyed his company. for a woman like vidya whose world revolved around her husband, there was no need for her to improve herself further because she felt her husband found her perfect. that was enough for her, why is not enough for us?

She has always been irritating - she pisses me off -- the dumbest tv girl by far and I dont mean by her being illiterate.

I get the show producers/writers are trying to show how an uneducated girl can win the hearts of everyone and the struggles she faces...

but then I hope this shows emphasizes the fact that one needs to be EDUCATED in today's society to survive ie. basic reading and writing to get around...

if Vidya doesnt improve her knowledge, then this show is sending the wrong message...

how could someone support not being able to read or write as cool. Yes I do find her irritating when she is just following sagar like maniac. Give guy some space. even sagar has shocked look on his face everytime he see her.

you didn't read half of what i write and you've got the right to comment on the way i write & say i'm not being to the point?

i never said sindoora was seen in a bikini or a mini. did i ever write that? maybe you should read my posts thoroughly before you come to conclusions.

and my friends support my blah blah because they feel it's right. your blah blah isn't in any way better than mine.

vidya is just trying to be perfect for sagar so he won,t get angry. she is all doing cuz sagar said he is giving their relationship another chance and vidya doesn,t want to lose her chance by doing mistakesthat,s why she is like that. she is just overprotective cuz she doesn,t want sagar to leave cuz of her mistakes. i agree with u that vidya should not be sagar,s dasi she should be sagar,s wife and a change in her will be good cuz her sagar would like that and she would anything for sagar.
