Great and a very interesting topic to discuss.

To be honest, I don't think any of us are as truthful as A Vidya or Saloni or a Bani. But we like to think that we speak the truth as much as we possibly can, I personally try to speak the truth as much as I can especially in front of my parents.

The truth has to come out one day because one lie,leads to another...then another....and another. Till the burden of lies become so big that the truth has its own way of coming out. Not that people like Surili and Sindoora really care how much they lie but what bugs them is a truthful person like Vidya, whom they know is right. By insulting her every other day they are only showing their own insecurites, especially Sindoora. Vidya's silence, although we may get irritated with it...is in fact her strength.

Wow, great topic Yuvi as usual, and here i am, second to reply 😉 😆

I think that even the most truthful person in the world (whoever that is) will find it hard to always speak the truth, no matter what situation or circumstance he/she is in. I dunno if we will ever really find a Vidya in all of us, and the only other person who I can kind of compare her with in serials is Saloni, maybe. Vidya to me is the most truthful character in telly serials because she doesn't feel that she needs to tell lies in order to cover up something. Whereas, we can see in other serials that Rimjhim (Piya Ka Ghar.... ), Bani, and others have told lies so that 'in the end' it 'results in happiness.'!

I personally try to speak the truth all the time, and I don't like it when a situation comes up that lying seems like a solution (which it really isn't).!

Does the truth always come out in the end? Hmmm... usually, it does! I wouldn't say always because of course there will be situations where the truth remains hidden. But it's best to speak the truth because lies are never for a good reason.... in the long run, it leads to only more lies and more problems!

But I am happy that Vidya is in this way, even though we may get frustrated or upset, it's what makes her character consistent as who she is! 😃

one time i threw wood thing and it hit the widow by accident and then i tried to hide it from my mom and dad but they came to know about it second day. after my dada came to know about it he had to pay 100 dollars to fix it. i was sooooooooo embarasssed but he didn,t say nothing.

Has it ever been that u were siding the truth, but was proven wrong? do you think that truth will eventually come out??

personally, i think that in the present society it is extremly hard to stand besides the truth...waves of lies or even temptations at some place or the other will try to sweep you away...

i myself find it hard to speak the truth....the truth is alwayz bitter....i tend not to see the truth and close my eyes..when it is related to me....but still i know...that if a bird closes her eyes after seeing the cat and then hopes that the cat wont eat it....is not true...it wud eat it

standing besides the truth is one helluva job !! as someone said : The stupid believe that to be truthful is easy; only the artist, the great artist, knows how difficult it is.

apart from this....sometimes the consequences of the truth wud cost u something....for instance, in jobs...u say a truth which is offending the Boss...and the next thing u realize is that u r fired...

'truth alwayz comes out at the end' well....i dont agree with it fully....ppl mold it, fold it, refine it and then present it...which is called manipulating the truth ....

the real truth remains hidden.....ofcourse there are some exceptional cases......

almost all the serials potray one thing :- The truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable.....this is the bottom line...

but in a selfish world...why wud a person face all the miseries, make his/her life hell.....to expose the truth...and it isnt a 100% possibility also....that it wud come out !!

but i guess the one thing truth gives is the self-satisfaction...we can stand proudly in front of ourseleves....and out eyes wont blink...with shame and guilt...coz we followed the truuth

this is a very interesting topic...for a good debate...anybody can have strong reasons against it and for it....😃

but as far as i am concerned...whenever i heard talks relating the truth....the only thing comes in my mind is the words said by Gandhijii :- There is no god higher than truth...

all the ppl are aware of this....but everybody is not a Gandhi...or a person soo brave to stand besides the truth
