Sahila and Nimai Bali

It is alleged that Kamya Punjabi and Nimai Bali (Kamya and Abhay of Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki) were dating each other. According to sources, the relationship was going strong until Nimai's wife Sahila Chaddha found out about it. Sahila then forced Nimai to break free from Kamya and also quit the serial.

When asked about his reasons for leaving the show, Nimai said, "I have signed a film for which I need to allot 30 days at a stretch. This would not have been possible had I been doing Woh… So I decided to leave the serial." He also denied having an affair with Kamya. He said, "My decision to quit the serial is purely professional. It has got nothing to do with anybody."

Kamya said, "If we really had an affair then wouldn't Sahila speak to both of us? She is an educated woman. Why would she make him to opt out of the serial? Isn't she bothered about his career? Nimai and I work together hence we do end up spending lot of time on the sets. But that happens on most sets. People tend to link up people who act together."

Sahila (Rita in Hum Aapke Hai Kaun) said that Nimai quit the show for 'personal reasons'. "It wasn't that Nimai was unhappy with the way his role was developing," she said.
