Sagar POV

I walked back to my room and opened it to see Vidya sleeping on the top bunk. I went to the bathroom and quickly changed as I crept into the lower bunk. My mind kept drifting off to my Cinderella. How was I supposed to find her and all I had to find her was her cell phone. But I know it's going to be difficult knowing that I'm popular and that girls are probably going to fake to be my Cinderella but what other way do I have. I'm going to go crazy If I don't find out who she is, because whoever she is stole my heart in under 15 minutes and those moments together I'll cherish. I looked at her phone and started going through it. I went to her gallery; maybe she might have pictures of herself or her friends. I started going through the pictures and saw a picture of Vidya. She can't be my Cinderella, my Cinderella dressed up and Vidya probably would never be caught dead in a dress and besides she didn't go to the dance. She said she might go. I never saw anyone with shorts there. But there is a chance that she's friend's with my Cinderella. I mean a girl like her probably has a couple of close friends. My Cinderella doesn't have many friends she said she was nobody but maybe Vidya knows her. Tomorrow I'm going to ask Vidya to help me find Cinderella.

Next Day

Vidya POV

Last night was amazing. Me and prince charming danced together but I'll never know who he is and I'll never let him know it was me after all I'm a nobody and once he meets me and see's that I'm different he'll laugh and go on with his life. But I lost my heart to him and that wasn't the only thing I lost to him I lost my cell phone too. But I'll have to forget him it's for the best. I was finishing off some work we were given in class. The teacher announced that he was going to give us a big assignment sometime in the middle of the year that would count as 25% of our passing mark. I sat there and finished it off picking up the book for next class and heading out. I have 25 minutes until the next class starts, I should go to the canteen and eat something. I started walking as someone caught up with me, it was Preity. "Hey" I spoke to her as we entered the canteen."Hey, guess what? I danced with a guy last night and guess who he is? He's Sagar the most popular boy on campus's best friend, Rohit! I know amazing" she spoke as we grabbed something to eat. "Oh Sagar, I know him. He's my roommate because of student over housing" I retorted. Her eyes went wide. "Lucky" she whispered. "Look" she said pointing to Sagar at a table. I looked there and I noticed a long line of girls. "Wonder what's happening?" I started taking a sip from my water. "Oh last night he dance with some girl and she completely mesmerized him. He calls her his Cinderella. He's looking for her" she started. My eyes went wide was he my Prince. Oh no if he is then we can never be together. I can't let him know who I am because if I do he would think it's a mistake. A popular guy with a total nobody wouldn't last. I started choking on the water I was drinking. "Did that girl drop her cell phone" I asked. If she says yes then I'll have to avoid him knowing that it's me. "Yeah" she replied shrugging her shoulders. "Shit" I yelled. I think I said that a bit loud because everyone was looking at me even Sagar. "Nothing! Just love this... this... water. Yup yumm" I yelled back patting my stomach. Preity pulled me down so that I wouldn't cause any further embarrassment to myself. "whats wrong?" she asked. "I'm his Cinderella. I can't let him know. Because he'd laugh once he'd know that it was me" I whispered. She shrieked and I pulled on her arm. Right then Sagar came. "Hey Vidya can I talk to you alone" he asked taking my hand and he pulled me away to some place where nobody was.

No POV

Sagar: I think you know who my Cinderella could be

Vidya's eyes grew in bewilderment

Sagar: I have her cell phone and it has a picture of you and you know her. Can you help me find who she is?

Sagar said as he went down on his knees

Vidya: I want to help you believe me but I can't.

Vidya started to walk away but Sagar grabbed her arm

Sagar: why not?!

Vidya: Because I can't alright. Don't ask me any questions. It's best if you forgot her.

Vidya said pushing his hand off of her.

Sagar: Why? Is it because your jealous of her? Is it because she's more beautiful, is it because she has someone going gaga after her? Is it because you like me and you won't allow your friend to get to me?

Vidya looked at him while he said that. Her eyes were welling up with tears. Each and every word hurt.

Vidya: Look if you like her so much find her on your own because true love never cheats by taking someone's help. I don't even know who she is and I only have 1 friend Preity who already found her mystery prince. And guess what you're the one mad because I'm the only girl in this school who doesn't like you and is now starting to hate you.

Vidya left him and walked to her next class wiping her tears. Although Sagar just got angrier.

Sagar: Well I thought you were different. I thought you were nice but guess what I was wrong and I'm starting to hate you too.
