Yes, even though his is the negative role, his performance is being praised a lot....infact all the actors in the movie are being praised for their performance.......one of the reviewers after seeing his performance wondered what he was doing wasting time overacting for television😆......but I don't think the guy watches Bandini coz I don't think RR overacts in Bandini......maybe the producer got the inspiration to cast RR in the role after watching the initial episodes of Bandini when he was a strict authoritarian who would at times take his chappal to his kids.....his character in the movie kind of sounds like that but with a mean streak that is thankfully absent in DM.
