I don't think DM was drolling when Santu was getting drenched or checking out her form. It is a very telling scene and congrats to Kekta mata for it. On rare occassions she comes up with this flash of brilliance.

It is almost as if DM is seeing Santu and her point of view for the first time after she came back. All this while he was wallowing in some Devdas mode. For the first time today he saw her and is considering her actions. I think the milk pouring on Santu has got him thinking because he was thinking of it when he came down the stairs to talk to Baa.

A thinking DM is good because it was the thinking DM who got to the bottom of Anamika mystery. He is still miffed that she used the POA and got into the house with the help of a lawyer without coming to him. The talk he gave to Baa was very subdued. It was not the angry DM but a thinking one. This is good because DM with his thinking cap on always solves the mystery. I hope the truth of the murder comes out soon and the ungrateful daughter Birwa is punished by DM.

I am not liking this DM character........he doesnt love santudi...........he is angry that she used POA and not came to him first..........well da........she did came to you after 10 years and when everyone insulted her and taunting her........where were you?...................you just showed her the way out............without even knowing where she will live, she is stil young and what if somethign happens to her..........what will she eat................so now all of a sudden we see DM saying oh, I loved santudi and i would have given her the money and all bla bla ...........but the truth is that his ego is chopped down by santudi......
