Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word

Now that SanRaj are married properly, in every sense of the word, and DM has accepted Santu from his heart as his wife, it seems as though events of the past have been conveniently forgotten.
This happens in all the shows, and it sucks.
Motiben made Santu's life a misery. From the day she came into the house Santo suffered physical, physocological and emotional abuse at the hands of Taru. From beating her in the courtyard, to knowingly making her wear Subhadra's clothes, to strip-searching her over a pair of lost earrings!!
And none of this has come to the knowledge of DM. But it had better do. It would be the stupidest thing if Taru was allowed to get away with such behaviour. And would discredit the idea of nay anay in the Mahiyavanshi household.
I want to see Champakali telling DM everything one day. And I mean everything that was meted out to Santu before. I don't know how the creatives will bring this about. But they need to.
And I want to see a mad, bad, ass-kicking DM give her some justice.
I think DM has come to care deeply for Santu now, and as such I want him to acknowledge that the way she was treated before was unjust and unforgiveable, and that he is as much to blame as anyone else. DM needs to apologise to Santu and he needs to get Taru to do likewise. Hopefully sometime soon, Taru will realise her mistake.
I just feel that until that is done, all this talk of adhikar, haq nay anay is just lip-service.
So get on with it DM. Say sorry and make Taru grovel for Santu's forgiveness.

You know Anna, I would have said let sleeping dogs lie with regards to Moti's behaviour.
But everytime I think about the incident where she strip-searched Santu in the store room, my blood boils.
That wasn't just a case of someone being spiteful. That was evil beyond belief. It was almost sadistic behaviour on the part of Taru, and the ultimate insult to a fellow human being.
I cried when I saw that epi. Just for that incident alone Taru should be whipped before the whole village. And even if DM doesn't come to know about anything else, he needs to know about this at least. He needs to know the extent to which Santu was degraded and dehumanised by his pyari motiben

You are right rakhie..but i think DM will know all those atrocities Santu gone through only towards the end of the series and that only can make Taru a better person to end the serial on a happy note.

Uma, for one thing that is too far away and my patience for these things is too little!
Secondly, Taru needs to reform herself now, so that she and Kanji can get it on!
Thirdly, DM's words are hollow to me until he rectifies the wrong done.
And fourthly, have I mentioned my patience is low!!!

Welcome to the my-blood-boils-for-santu stage of Bandini/I went through this, was raving MAD at DM,but somehow got over it.I dont think DM knows,or for that matter,he will never know.

Many of us here have fond memories of the SR,but for me,it was somewhat hollow--even though i was VERY happy for them--just because i was expecting a full fledged apology speech from DM before he made love to her.But it never happened.Instead,we got a half baked,I-am-Malik type of apology from him,and that too to BAA,not Santu, and not to mention, the crappy dialogues DM was given at that time.

Rakhie, this morning when you asked me about the old epis,i actually wanted to warn you about this, but slipped my mind.

Happens, dear.Reality strikes hard when we watch the old epis.If you still want to be in love with DM,stop watching them.

Ya Rakhie, DM was quite a monster in the guise of the monarch. And Santu mata just grovelled at his feet all day while he preened himself. He thinks he has done Santu a big favour by accepting her as his wife.
It was quite terrible for Santu those days but Mata bore everything and only complained to DM twice. After the first time she got married to DM again and after the second time she got L....D on a bundle of hay! Thats about it.
No sorry, no nothing!

Motiben owes an apology to not only Santu but Champakali,Shambu, Nanaji, Khemi and Monghi too.She has physically and verbally abused them.A mere apology cannot wipe out all the mental torment she has given to these people.I however think that DM, even if he comes to know about it, will do nothing.DM himself has crossed the limit several times.

@ Rakhi
I 200% agree with you. That Dm should know all torture santu went through and MB needs reformand should apologize, but I have to go with radhika, that DM will never know it and I doubt that MB will ever regret what she did to Santu
But I so wish this to happen.just for humanity @ least
