I like your anology. I wonder about the same, it is a tiny little goan Dharampur and DM does not know about someone's existence. But she cannot be their daughter, as Subhi dies just 6 years back, they have that little son, I forgot his name. She could be Subhi's long lost sister, Ekta can produce anyone from anywhere. I lost my mom when I was 14, probably I can ask Ekta to bring her back for me.

first of apologies if i am repeating this as i have not read the enitre thread.....and maybe someone has already posted this thought.
But i just had a thought, remember when baa came into the room just before the wedding to decorate dm's room she wanted to take down subhadra's photo and dm said no that will never happen..... i think this plot is just for that or leading for exactly that to happen. He will come to a stage where he will decide to move on with santu by first bringing down the photo

If anamika is a complete lookalike of subhi, then that painting is a poor portrait because subhi would have looked nothing like that!

anamika might be subhi's soul coming to tell DM to move on a d that she's happy to have been replaced by santo. she might disappear once DM moves on. I know it's wishful thinking but you never know!
