bandini big mess (will dm dvorce santo )

I think he should divorce her this will be a great story line. This show is about the journey about this main couple so obviously they will ultimately stay together. I think their relationship is stuck in a rut, they need shock treatment imagine the romance, passion and longing this will envoke in them if they separate thinking they don't need each other. And imagine if he divorces her he will have to marry her again what a great episode that would be. First time they got married it was torture for both of them next time it would be because they want to and they will be the ultimate couple. Ahhhhhhhh I never wanted a divorce in any soap before but this would be great story if writers do it right and stir up all the bottled feelings in DM. He will have to ask her to marry him again that would be awesome.

no , no divorce please , that will break all the story and will be such a mess , personnaly if divorce happens , I won't watch bandini any more becoz , for me , bandini is this marriage between DM-Santu and the way they will handle this relationship from total ignorance from DM to the whole romantic story between them .
so for me divorce = no DM-santu = no bandini , so won't watch the show if it happens , it's as simple as that

I can't imagine how DM-Santo can get back together once they divorce...it will be too incongruous. It's one thing for a married couple, even one so mismatched in age and forced to marry in the first place to make the marriage work, totally different for them to get divorced and remarry. I can't see DM falling in love with Santo whatsoever if they get divorced, where will be the opportunity and furthermore it will totally ruin DM's character. A situation where a couple gets divorced and then fall in love and then remarry would have worked for a young love story, it will not work for DM-Santo. Their's is supposed to be a mature love story, where love, attraction and passion is borne out of mutual respect, caring, shared concerns for family and so on. I can't see DM pining for Santo and realizing he loves her and then remarrying her, it will be totally out of character for him....as yet I don't beleive he is in love with her...he cares for her, respects her but is not in love with her. And it will be very hard to swallow if they show him falling in love with her after a divorce.

A divorce will totally ruin the storyline...and I don't beleive it's going to happen. I share Manel's views, a divorce will totally ruin the show for me because it will ruin the story. I for one won't be able to accept DM falling in love with with Santo and remarrying her after a divorce...it will be totally out of character for him and not something I can see DM doing.

I agree with sg08 and tunisian. This divorce is a bad idea. The USP of Bandini is that it shows a different dimension of love between a couple, who are separated by age, class and caste. This divorce and remarrriage ploy has been used several times in many shows, especially in BT serials. but those stories were based in urban India, among upper class families where such things probably happen. Bandini is located in rural Gujarat. Divorce and remarriage between a couple will not go well with the setting. And it will also expose Bandini to ridicule, since many people constantly make fun of Ekta and her predictable storylines. If Ekta and BT want to surprise viewers, and keep Bandini as a totally different show based on performance and storyline rather than gimmicks, this divorce should not happen.

This divorce, if it does happen, will open up another can of worms. Now Santo is Hiten's mother (step-mother). If she divorces DM, and Khemi marries Hiten, Santo becomes Hiten's sister-in-law or saali. In most societies in India that I know of, a saali is a potential spouse for a man. So from a relationship where marriage is prohibited (that is, between a step-mother and a step-son), Santo will get into a state where a marriage between Hiten and her is possible (not that it will happen, but a saali-jiju relationship is different from a sauteli maa-beta one).

a divorce would give the storyline more scope yet i said he would cange his mind..i think khemi and hiten will get married...santo will be on the verge of leaving him and he will stop her..because then whos gona make his "chai???""😆
