Hahahha yea ..

Especially during the portrait scene, no?

It gave him a very vulnerable look yesterday instead of the all mighty - al conquering look that the moustache usually imparts to him .. anyways it was worth the limp .. it made him look HEAVENLY ...

The small scene where he could not meet eyes with Subhadra's portrait was very touching .. he said a lot .. even without uttering a syllable. .

DM's obsession with Subhadra is something that adds so much depth to his character.

The fact that a good-looking (I am sure all the Gaon ki Gori's had their eye on Malik sometime or the else!), rich, powerful and intelligent man choses to stay single after his wife's death and is till date loyal to her memories is very touching.

This itself proves that whenever his heart will meltofy for Santu, he will be equally loyal and devoted to her...magar us se pehle Santo ki agni pariksha!

Yes it adds a very REAL touch to his character .. something in his voice when he talks about Subhadra always hints to the cfact that he must have been an ideal man before his wife died ..

I think the manner in which she died scarred DM forever .. maybe she died when he gave her all the happiness he could muster .. I hope they do justice to subhadra's death as and when they show it .

And yes -

I ALSO think that DM will come to love Santo even more than he loved Subhadra .. because maybe she has that one thing Subhadra never had.. the innocence of a poor girl married to a rich person .. Subhadra and DM were always on the same footing ..

But the question that I asked in the update thread is still stuck in my head.😆 If Santu goes a missing in Surat and DM has to give the police a description of her - tab kya hoga? It would really be a scene to watch.

That will definitely be something so exciting to watch develop, to see his love for Santo be more powerful, loyal, caring and devoted in every possible way a man could love his wife.
Ekta should do justice to this love story. There is a lot of potential in these great and unique characters, a great love story is in the making without showing holding hands, or even saying I love you, or pointless eye lock sessions. Love can be explored and what it means symbolizes in its truest sense without all the cliches of teenage romance.

Tum to mota-bhai ke peeche hi pad gayi ho!

I guess after Subhadra passed away, DM is challenged when it comes to describing women😆

Yup this is no teenage romance story. Enough of that stuff already!

This simple story totally based on respect, honor and admiration will show more depth to love then any frolicking mushiness.

Policewalla guy : Um, Malik...aapki patni kaisi dikhti hain?

Policman looks helplessly towards Pinakin who gives him a look of, 'I undestand what you are going through buddy, I went through the same routine.'

Policeman : (After getting some much needed help from Pinakin) Toh, aap please Madhav Solanki ki dohitri ka description denge?

DM : (Now losing his ground and having no idea about how the girl looks, but not wanting to show his ignorance on the matter) Woh...Woh ladki jaise dikhti hain.

Policeman : (Blinking his eyes in bewilderment) Yeh toh aapne bahut pate ki baat keh di, Malik...magar thoda kuch aur describe kar dete, toh hume badi madad mil jaati.

DM : (Thinking hard) Woh Kohinoor jaisi nahin dikhti...

Policeman : (Now completely confused) Kohinoor? Sir, agar aap yeh bata dete ki woh kaisi dikhti hain, instead of woh kaisi nahin dikhti hain, toh hume unhe doondne mein help mil jaati...

DM : (Furious and impatient) Aye Chokre...bataya toh tha...ladki jaisi dikhti hain aur Kohinoor jaisi nahin dikhti...aur kitna description chaihye...Biography likhni hain kya? Tumhare jaise policewaale hain, isi liye is desh ka kuch nahin hota...ab jao aur us doondh lo....and remember use waapa mat lana...jahaan hain wahin rehne dena...

Policeman : (Wondering 'Main kahaan phas gaya') Ji Malik...aap genius che!😉😆
