can someone please help me ,, i was recently travelling in India and had watched the promo where dharamraj fixes santo's bindi and then i missed lots of episode till the diamond thing that hiten and dharamraj all through the night.. i just wanted to know if anything happened between dharram raj and santo.. can some please let me know in summary what happened between there in couple of episodes

I started watching this serial recently, can anybody tell why DM married Santo in the first place?

because guruji said so...guruji told him to marry santo coz she will bring him good luck. santo married dm coz no one would marry her now, coz the one she was supposed to marry, ran away.

" Bandini " in the literal sense means a prisoner...... or somebody in shackles..........

in this context it means that she is a prisoner to the outside world the caste system, her nanaji's decison to marry her to dm, and all that is happening around her........it is used in a metamorphical sense......she got married to a person who was twice her age.....and dm had 5 kids out of which 3 of them were elder than her ........so this is a sort of bandini..........

bcoz......she is a prisoner to others thought.......nd if u see the initial episodes .........she was even kept like a priosner.......

nd if i am not wrong someone has already explained the meanin of bandini in 1 of the discussion forums....... ( thr are 7 and frankly speakin i dont have the patience to thru all of them.......but just in case....u can go thru the 1st 4 ........i think u should find it there) 😭

2) " chokri " in hindi means a girl or a ladki.......it is colloquial in nature and can be also used as a slang sometimes.......but here it means "" HEY GIRL "" 😉

dm refuses to acknowledge santo as her wife and hence calls her chokri....partly b'coz of her age and also b'coz he doesnt want to give away his 1st wife's place to someone else........so basically this is very abstract......calling santo a chokri doesnt imply any realtion with her.......🤔
