Nandini finally got to wear new clothes too. She looked so pretty in that pink gaghra.
Hope Anandi gets her some more of those kind of gaghras in nice pastel shades.

Nobody to tear her clothes or refuse new clothes on her behalf without her permission.

One more thing is that Nandini liked Bhai Dooj festival much more than she did Diwali. She loved the concept of brother and sister's relationship being celebrated.

That shows how much she yearns for normal relationships.

Would be better if Anandi said that she had been lied to about her mother and she was not abandoned but snatched away from her mother.

Nice to see some beautiful moments between mom n daughter 😊
u r ryt @ aparnauma
Wish Anandi atleast said something to nandini abt the lie she is believing to be true. Anandi would have started conversation with nandini like asking who told u that she has been dumped by her mother. And no mother can do to that to her children. There must be some other reason which nobody told her all these yrs. In this way, chances r there for nandini to start thinking abt her mother in different angle. The lies has been ingested into her brain gradually like a slow poison. In the same manner it should be taken out at the same pace. It cannot be unfolded in one dialogue saying to nandini , that "iam ur real mother , I did not dump u any where. U have been lied by ur own people ". No, no child will believe this story over nyt .
Dadisa was ryt in yesterday's episode, that it takes time . U have to be patient. Experience matters anyways.

The director's best creation in bv was shiv's character. And the worst thing they did was to kill off this character.

so true ... indeed the best creation of BV

Apparently, directors killed him off to empower Anandi as a single woman / mother. But they failed miserably in uplifting her character.

Due to that a huge vacuum is felt with Shiv's absence. I can't stop thinking 'what if Shiv was around...'

Best thing about Shiv was he was not syrupy sweet nor dumb as "good" characters are invariably shown on TV. In soap world good means dumb and intelligent means vamp.

He had strong values, was intelligent ad educated, was an IAS officer -- a relief from the standard business tycoon -- was playful and fun to have around. He even did cheesy lines with elan.

Best part was he was not sanctimonious and did not give bhashans.

One of a kind TV character. Miss him.

I just loved the festive atmosphere yday.. Nandini bonding with her family slowly. I loved the way she was dressing up her mother. Anandi looked so glowing. Harki and the new evil guy are there. Don't know what's happening next.

I think I will take a break from BV forum.

I dont contribute much there but the Ashoka forum is full of fun and laughter. They lampoon the CVs heartily, every character has a nickname and there are rip-roaring imaginary conversations. Nobody is sacrosanct.

I may write there occasionally and peep in here if I feel like it. I'm naturally irreverent and would like to stay that way.

Rohini not sure why you want distance yourself from this forum but it's good to have you around.
If taking a break suits you, fair enough, but do come back
