Ganga requests Gehna to feed Mannu and give him his medicines as she wants to prepare Jagya's favourite dish and get his tiffin ready. Gehna says as there is still time, Ganga can feed Mannu. But, Ganga insists that Gehna feed Mannu and walks away from there. She breaks down in kitchen saying that it is best for Mannu and herself that Mannu learns to live without her.

Meanwhile, Anandi, Suhasini, Anup reach Mumbai.

Kesarbagh

Shekhars consulting family Pandit to set Muhurat/auspicious time for Saanchi's wedding. Pandit says that there are two: 1-Chathurthi, which is at a very short notice 2. Another Muhurat - 3 Months away. Daddu says that it would be best if the wedding is held on Chathurthi and wedding should not get delayed. Saanchi says that currently they have some problems renting a suitable house, until then they will try to adjust in Payal's outhouse even if the Muhurat is at short notice. vivek says he is fine with the muhurat date.

Mumbai

Anandi, Suhasini, Anup reach Subhasini's flat and find it locked. Suhasini's elderly neighbours , who spot her express surprise that she has decided to stay in Udaipur and will miss her. They happily share that their son and daughter-in-law are taking them for a movie outing and wouldn't mind missing serials. Finding the contrast with her son's behavior, Suhasini has tears in her eyes. She remembers that another key is with one of their neighbours and gets it. She takes Anandi and Anup around her flat. She tells them that the society is very nice and all the people are very friendly. When she opens the door of her room, she is surprised that it is already converted as her grandson's room. Anup is angry with the way today's generation treats their parents. Suhasini is very upset at the turn of events. She tells Anandi and Anup that she has learnt a very valuable lesson and knows what her future course of action is.Says mothers always show them the right path and inculcate the right values - children should not forget that even if they become parents, their mothers are capable of teaching them what is right and wrong. They cannot underestimate the strength of a mother. She calls one of her neighbours who had earlier expressed his wish to buy her flat. Suhasini and the neighbour Deshpande discuss the modalities of flat sale. At first he is apprehensive that Suhasini's son may object to the flat sale, but when he gets to know that Suhasini is the sole owner and the son cannot stake claim in the property, he is fine with the flat purchase. Even though there isn't time for registration of the flat and other legal formalities to complete, Deshpande says that he has full faith in Suhasini that these can be completed later and is willing to give her the cheque for the flat.

Badi Haveli

Singhs are having their dinner. They hear Mannu crying and observe that Ganga does not make any attempt to go to Mannu and comfort him. Sumi and Gehna are worried and puzzled at her behaviour. They are not able to understand why Ganga is trying to ignore Mannu. Dadisas understands what is happening - tells them the reason - Ganga is trying to prepare herself and Mannu for the separation.

In her room, Ganga is in tears looking at Mannu. Mannu is sleeping peacefully holding onto Ganga's pallu. Dadisa walks in to the room. She tells her that she perfectly understands the pain Ganga is going through and gives her Ramayan to read. Says her pain is similar to what Kausalya felt when Lord Rama had to go on vanavas - it was for 14 yrs - but Ganga's separation from Mannu would be for a lifetime. Dadisa tells Gehna not to ignore Mannu but try to give him the lifetime of love and happiness. Ganga must not try to control herself. Her contentment would lie in seeing Mannu happy as long he is with them.

VO -It is only under very trying circumstances can a mother separate from her child. A disturbed self is heart broken at the very thought of separation.. (thanks Anjali)

Precap - Ratan's parents come to take Mannu away. A very angry Dadisa tells them until Mannu is perfectly fine, they will not handover Mannu. Saanchi requests Anandi's help in giving her marriage invitation to Vivek's parents.

Poor Ganga, she is trying to prepare the kid to live without her, another side of a mother's love, but I can't imagine Mannu without Ganga or vice versa. They are inseparable for me.

An incredibly chastened Sanchi is hellbent on giving viewers repeated diabetic shocks with her sweetness.

Well, why did Anup accompany Anandi, only reason I can think is the director might have been considerate to the actor. Otherwise, Anandi didn't need any escort! I am happy to see Suhasini is determined to teach another well-needed lesson to her son.

Lovely Ganga-Dadisa scene, the way Mannu was holding Ganga's pallu while sleeping was very cute. Ganga looked beautiful yesterday !

Dadisa words were so right, One should try not to leave any scope in life to later regret for things not done when one had the time and opportunity to do it, my takeaway from this episode.
